Ultimate Martial Arts & Fitness

UMA provided exceptional experience for my 7 year old boy. He loves his Kerate lessons with UMA which added to his self confidence and boosted his energy levels. Can't recommend more.

I have been going to UMA for over 10 years now and I couldn't imagine going anyway else. Definitely the best place to train. I trained here for about 5 years and so did all my kids. Great people, real family environment. Training was awesome with a fantastic curriculum.

We have tried other martial arts places in the same area as UMA, and they were not as supportive or as fun for my children. UMA is great! I would highly recommend UMA to others parents of children with extra needs. Not only do they teach strengthening the body but also the minds and solid values like respect, trying, understanding, kindness, acceptance, team work and community.. All with fun, laughter and giving it a go!!

My grandson was having problems at school, he was being bullied. For nearly 2 years the school teachers did nothing to help him, having done karate when I was in my teens, I remembered how much more confidence you can gain with karate thru the philosophy and tradition that goes along with the training. My daughter took him to a different club initialy but he was not getting much out of a 45 minute lesson when 25 minutes of it was water breaks. I began to look up alternative clubs and came accross UMA, and I was immediately taken in by what they believe and stand for. On his first lesson Sensei Jayde asked the class how many of you start to feel sick about going to school?"I was watching to see if he would put his hand up

I have been a member of Ultimate Martial Arts for 24 years. I love the family atmosphere of the club and the care of the learning capabilities of each student. It’s why I have been there so long. UMA is not just a typical karate school. It’s a place of extended knowledge of how techniques work and how to use the focus within your personal life. I recommend everyone to come to UMA.

I can't thank everyone at UMA enough for the care and support they've shown to both my kids, both lacked confidence and were very shy. I've seen so much development in both their resilience and fitness from their kids Karate classes. All the instructors are so supportive and lovely but a special mention goes out to both Sensei Jayde & Shihan Vincent for pushing and encouraging the kids to do their best. Highly recommend this school to anyone who's looking for a kids karate class to build confidence.

My son loves going to Karate here! It has improved his confidence and he loves learning new techniques. The instructors are fantastic, patient and fun!
