Despite advertising a closing time of 9:00, turned up at 6:55pm only to be told I could not be seen. The barbers shift was finishing and I should come back the next day. Store remained open, but no cuts for men.

Colour every 4 weeks by Jo. She listens, provides advice and I haven’t been disappointed with her service.My teenage daughters have their hair done by Jo as well. With thick long hair (one curly), they have had disappointing cuts in the past. They now will only let Jo cut their hair!

They advertise all cuts 25" and there is not any more to it. When I read that I expect to pay 25

No need to explain the full story but DO NOT go here if you have dark hair. The hairstylists here do not know how to properly colour dark hair! After 7 hours of sitting in a chair, my hair looks the same as it did before, no colour is visible whatsoever. I wanted a red colour with highlights but unfortunately my hair is the same shade of medium brown it was when I walked in. Most disappointing fact is that they tried to cover up their unfamiliarity and ignorance with a discount instead of actually giving me the colour I specifically asked for multiple times. Do not recommend at all

If I could rate less than 1 star I would.I just left after having the worst haircut of my life. I walked in with shoulder length hair. I just needed my fringe trimmed and some layers styled around my face, and about an inch off the length. I explained this to the woman who greeted me, and then she relayed this to another hairdresser" but in a different language. The first woman then left the store.The hairdresser initially pushed my hair forward and I couldn't see. When I looked up though I realised she was cutting my hair SO short

Not Fountain gate Hair to Hair, it was DONCASTER WESTFIELD store.*NO STARS* My hair is ruined for xmas. I cant wear it down as it has huge chunks cut out of the back of it. I went back next morning and requested my money back as it really is horrifying. Shame my hair is screwed now. Read the reviews, I'm not the only one that has had a bad experience here!!

One of the worst choices and experiences of my life. I came in with what I wanted, proper ideas of how I'd like it to come out, thorough explanations of my past hair colours and how they turned on to ensure they don't happen again, and yet here I am crying in a bathroom $250 poorer than how I started. I had gone earlier in order to seek out what the price will look like and was told for the idea I wanted it would be 200-220, turns out to be 250. The lady did not listen to my explanation, did not take what I wanted into consideration, and long story short did not give me the colours I had asked for. I was wanting a light lavender peak a boo with a darker purple on top (close to a black colour type of dark), guess what? It's all the same dark purple. I was looking for a shade that has more blue undertones rather than red, as I had already had that shade of purple before and it faded out horribly, now my hair straight up just looks red when you put too much light onto it. I understand I will have to wash my hair in order to let some of the colour lighten, but that means the other colour will darken along with it, defeating the purpose of paying for the additional colour. I have had purple before; I know the commitments it needs to ensure it stays for a long time in the best condition and I know the struggles of figuring out the best shades. But this whole experience has left me absolutely heartbroken. Will never go here again.

They provide the best hair service in Melbourne to their clients. This is the first ever experience in my life time that i made a decision to colour (highlights) my hairs. I was looking for a saloon where i can get recommendations too regarding which hair colour will suit me as this is the first time i went for highlights. Luckily, i met Indian lady named as Alka in saloon. She did marvellous job and even advised me which service i should go for. She put all her efforts and satisfied me with her best service. Highly recommended to all my Indian girlies who are looking to have the same service.
