Keen to explore some authentic African food, I stepped in to Pyramids Restaurant with family and friends. Ordered several different items from the menu. I was confused if this was actually Egyptian or proper African food menu. The restaurant was empty at lunch time but few people arrived to eat later. There were no staff in this restaurant as we were severed by a kid (very young boy) who looked after the restaurant most of the time. The food was generally ok, could rate as average. The dishes that said to be meat had more gravy sauce and a very few tiny pieces of meat as pictured, felt like a waste of money. The fried fish was good. I’d rate the entire experience as average.

Absolutely delicious and authentic food cooked by Sam, keeping true to her mixed Egyptian/Sudanese heritage. Portions are very big so great value for money, and service is always with a smile. So far have had the Molokhia and Shaia (both with lamb), and was very impressed with the authentic flavours - the eateries in this Noble Park station area are known for not tuning it down for the average Anglo" and Pyramids does not disappoint in this regard! Finish off your meal with some ginger/cardamom Arabic coffee and you will leave with a smile on your face and a full tummy!"

Fantastic, unpretentious restaurant with exotic flavours and warm, friendly service. It was my first time trying this kind of food and I loved it.I can especially recommend the fasolia with its beautiful spices (mmmm... cardamom) and the fish.A special shout out to the lovely lady looking after us, who partook in our banter, was SO accommodating and even gave us proper chilli sauce. Looking forward to coming back and trying the injera bread!
