I could not recommend Jenny highly enough, I had the best time here and her work on my wedding dress was amazing! The garter Jenny made for me was so beautiful, everything was perfect! She made every fitting so enjoyable, I can't wait to go back!!

Jenny did an amazing job with re-upholstering all my cushions for a new campervan. She got the job done within a short time frame as I had to leave town for my trip quite quickly. She worked so hard to get it done over a few days and the end product was just amazing, I am stoked with how they turned out. She helped me select my fabric and walked me through the whole process with complete transparency. Such an asset to have such a talented local seamstress on the central coast, will definitely be coming back ☺️

Jen is awesome. Quick turn around on my items and great work. Wasn't sure if she could or would do work for mens clothes but she did the best job ever. Will always use sew and sew , very happy

Jen is the best on the coast bar none. Her craftsmanship is of the highest quality, and her personality makes you feel like you have known her for years. Wish I would have found her business years ago instead of settling for less.

I cannot recommend So & Sews Alterations enough!Jen's work is superb & so is her personality!2 of my grandaughters have had their year10 formals dresses done by her & were extremely happy-& Jen fitted us in on extremely short notice.

Used Jenny to alter my wedding dress. We booked in October, and she advised me to bring it in December 5th. Every appointment was altered, and at one appt she was rude, and in front of clients abused me saying she left me a message that she hadn't looked at my dress. (wedding 31/12/2022) and I only gave it to her a week notice and normally it's 3 months in advance.Whilst the alterations were adequate, not perfect. I had another fitting 30/12 and she said had advises me she was closed and not taking on any appointment during Xmas break and she was concentrating only to finish my dress by the Sunday, I corrected her and advised my wedding is NYE. When my daughter and I turned up for my fitting, not much more had been completed, and she had a client with her that had just bought a dress and needed it altered. Jenny, said I will have it finished by 5pm today so you can wear it tonight. I said, hopefully my dress will be finished before you start on this one. (obviously this was not the case) We eventually picked up the dress 8:30pm the night before my wedding, my daughter picked it up, we had paid for some alterations but not them all, as Jenny hadn't worked out the amount when we were there earlier, she said she would send e a message with the amount. No message came through.We did receive 3-4 phone calls advising it wasn't ready throughout the day. When my daughter went to pick it up she wasn't going to release the dress without payment, Jenny doesn't have a eftpos machine. Eventually, the dress was released after my daughter said, my mum has paid for some, she will pay the rest, she isn't going to not pay you. (whilst i understand the dilemma, she doesn't have the facility to pay straight away its by transfer only). Jenny then, proceeded to tell my daughter the reason it was so rushed was because I only gave her the dress two weeks prior.The account was paid, due to my wedding being new years eve, Jenny then rang and sent messages for my payment. Which was made but due to public holiday hadn't processed.I wasn't going to bother with a review, however, when a business person has to liar to my daughter that was just the low of all lows and then hassle me. The day of my wedding and the following day for the costs knowing its a public holiday.As I have stated to Jenny, she is unorganised, writes one thing in her book and tells you something else and doesn't remember. Abused me in front of people, and I just walked off in tears. Then liars to cover up for her mistakes, and errors to make herself look like she is doing me a favour.I'm not saying Jenny is not good at her job, but she clearly has issues. Takes on too much work, she has clients in and out of her rooms and doesn't give enough time to actually do the work.Makes 15 min appt, which isn't long enough and wants to talk to you about stuff, when all you want to do is get in and out. The appt are back to back, which means no work can be completed whilst seeing clients.My recommendation is see clients 2 days a week that's it; so you can concentrate on your actual work. Have someone take phone calls, so there is not interruption. Respond to messages, and return phone calls. Or have someone do this for you.

Jenny truly is a whiz at her art. Although, So & Sew is listed as an alterations business, I have pushed Jenny probably a lot further than she wanted to go. :) :) I am a return client of hers. Three times over and getting ready for number four. When I say push, I mean upholstery. Number one job, was making me curtains to my specs and they are superb. Number two was creating amazing throw cushions (with piping), out of beautiful fabric I bought from abroad (back in the day). Then number three almost saw her hit the wall (during peak time, before Christmas) and you will see why, as I have added my pictures. Beautifully created and designed cushions, I am using for a gorgeous wrought iron setting. I opted for indoor fabric, as it is a lot more softer on the skin and again, wanted the piping. The outcome was as I thought, pure fabulousness! I couldn't be happier. If you need Jenny to make you anything a little out of the ordinary, please give her the respect and time she needs to do it. Jenny is a perfectionist like any artist, therefore, if you give her the space she needs, the outcome will only astound you, I can guarantee that. You won't be disappointed. I have been to see Jen a few times over the last few years for different things to be altered, this time it’s for my wedding dress, Jen has been awesome, she does great work and is so accomodating to what I need and want, I have confidence in her advise and trust that her work will be perfect! Thanks Jen for being great at your job and making my dress fit like a glove! I will not see any other business for alterations. Highly recommended!
