Lochiel Memorial Hall RV Campsite

Very noisy with a lot of trucks along the main road

Really great spot for an overnighter , clean toilet block, awesome fenced playground for the kids , opposite the lock ness monster on the lake sculpture.

The Lochiel Memorial Hall RV/ Campsite is a great free overnight camp. It has a kids fenced playground with swings, slides a flying fox and climbing bars on soft wood chips and we'll maintained grassy area on the side. There is. A BBQ under a covered shelter with seats and a round table. There is a water faucet next to the back Memorial Hall. A clean Toilet block with toilet paper and soap, they have 5 toilets all in all. The campsite is a good size on dirt soil right next to the main highway and Infront of the beautiful Pink Lake where Loch Eel, The Loch Ness Monsters' cousin is believed to reside. The area is clean and well kept, we'll lighted and safe to park overnight after a long drive. Thank you Lochiel for the great stop! Generator allowed.

Great stop off the highway (access via Robert St), over the road from Lake Bumbunga (Pink Salt Lake).Features 5 clean toilets, one is a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities. Behind this is a fantastic, fully-fenced playground with a grassed area. Outside the playground is a sheltered area with a BBQ and bench seating. There is a Telstra Public Payphone a short walk away. Great for a quick toilet stop or for a rest while the kids play.

Very neat with clean toilets. The kids' playground will take it to a 5 star rating once complete. There is a bit of road noise as it's just off the highway.

Good place to rest the night in a travel to adelaide or going west. Stay in car or roof top tent (between the building and the tree in the picture)Nice clean toilettes (no shower).No electricity to charge.Water.Bbq area with 1 table.Kids secure area.In front of a pink lagoon" (not every hour)."

A small gravel area behind the hall but still plenty of space for large rigs .A great area for a stopover Across the road from Lake Bumbunga interperatve area . There is a small gas bbq under cover and a children's play gym . Toilets are reasonably new and I would say we'll cared for as there is plenty of passing trade . A little bit of noise from passing trucks during the night .

Beautiful waterfront area with a path down to the lake. Looks like the lakes inhabitant has had a much needed facelift. I'd the weather is right, the lake is such a beautiful pink
