Birkdale Recycling and Waste Centre
There has been now a total of 3 times over the last 2 months we have attempted to do a drop off twice on a Sunday website says closes at 5.30 we arrive just after 5pm and the gates were closed. Again today after missing out yesterday we rushed home from work to drop it off, website says closes at 5.30 arrive at 4.50pm gate are closed no signage advising early closure each time.Normally we have had great experiences here but as of late it has become very disappointing. It's really hard when you work full time.

Great facility with friendly staff who are well organised. This is the perfect spot to drop off the mother in law when you want some peace and quiet **oh look at that!! Its already beginning to pay off**They provide waste management for:-Steel-E-Waste-Recyclables-Used Oil and Paints-General and GreenPretty much everything except batteries (which is available in Chandler)

Easy access show your local drivers licence and through the gates. Areas to dump are clean and separated in, green waste, steel, electrical, oil and general waste. Give it 5 stars...well because it's a dump..but no matter ha.

Staff are professional,friendly and helpful. Easy to navigate around. Our first trip was easy as there was no traffic ,on our second trip, there was a bit of a queue but the staff were organised and directed the flow of traffic smoothly, so thumps up to them .

Clean, well organised with clear signage, friendly and helpful staff. Easy to access..Makes a great contribution to managing our environment. Would be a great facility for interesting educational excursionson waste management for schools and community groups.

Birkdale Recycling and Waste Centre
Well laid out centre, general waste to bin area opposite weight bridge, green waste to top area includes metal's, tyre's, battery etc, can weigh caravans on weigh bridge. This is a well run centre
