Golden BBQ Seafood Restaurant
Came for Mother’s Day lunch and everything looked okay. Restaurant is nice and food was okay. We ordered combination roast $45 which they charged us $48, 2 crab and corn soup $8 each, large fried rice $18.8 and 2 spring water which was the woolies brand costing $4 each and tea for $4.5. 4 dishes costing us $90. They overcharged our combination roast and the employee almost made the excuse that on Sunday they charged different on the menu in addition to the surcharge for paying on card but just gave us $3 coins instead. Overall, average food and overpriced menu. Advice: Bring your own water.

Sorry, not a lot of pictures of the food as I forgot to take them. We mainly ordered the lunch specials. Thus was a Christmas Day lunch catch up with friends. Each main averaged $16-$20 per dish. Generous amount of rice on each dish. Mains portion size was average. Tea was $2 per person. An additional 10% surcharge on Christmas Day.

Came here for lunch today on a Sunday, it wasn’t too busy but the food took a long time to arrive, and it seemed quite understaffed. That being said, the food was not bad. I had the combination rice with bbq pork and roast pork and while I would say the bbq pork was average, I particularly enjoyed the roast pork.They also do lunch specials which seem like good value but from the looks of it their dishes are expensive for what they are.

This restaurant has a lot of tables for a book-in. The food quality was above average. Most of all, we had enjoyed dine-in here. The car parking bays are ticket free. The service was good. A bit like a fine dining restaurant. Cheers!

We tried their lunch specials today, combination BBQ with rice, and noodle. They come with roasted duck, BBQ pork, chicken, and roasted pork with crispy skin, Generous portions and very tasty. We asked for extra sauce and chilli, no extra costs, The lunch specials are reasonable priced.

Are some food here and very quick service. The roast pork would have to be one of the best ones south of the river. Sambas verges are also delicious. I use to come here quite often but stopped for a while. So glad I came back again because the quality is still top notch.

The menu was not clear at all , ordered a bbq combination and came out a beef , chicken , onion stir fry . Called the owner for an explanation if I was sent the wrong dish and all he can say is bbq meaning cook in the kitchen by the chef . Does that make sense ?Definitely not going there again

Edited latest: most recent purchase of a whole roast duck & roast pork which all both well above average. However on the other hand, their BBQ pork (char Siew) was below par. Could be different on another day.This is an updated version of my review as we want there again recently. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of food served. Nice and tasty. The roast pork is not overly fatty like the previous bad experience I had.Service is above average. I seldom dine in as I usually do takeaways. But the most recent times we went, my family and I were all quite happy with the service. But most importantly is the food. Hence I altered my previous 3 star rating to 4 star rating. Well deserved.

Service was bad last night :1)was just browsing the menus and the staff rushing over shortly to take order when I was not ready 2) order placed but waiting for 2 more guests and the first item of combination meat was quickly served, told the staff we still waiting for guests and she said I didn't tell her and I showed her common sense that 2 empty seats not filled 3) All orders were rushed on to our table and quickly cleared our plates all within 15 mins in a very rush dinnerIt would be my first and last time there
