Jo is an incredibly skilled therapist who provided an extremely professional service. It is clear Brazilian Hut invest in their staff who genuinely care about clients. Well done Jo for going above and beyond and thanks for the great conversation. I can highly recommend this salon where service is their number one priority - a true feat in this difficult climate.

I came in to get a tan for my wedding, I asked for dark I have had plenty of Tans and knew what I wanted. She decided for me that she wasn’t doing it dark and only did a ‘light coat.’The tan was nice but wasn’t dark enough/ what I asked for. Was very disappointed.

I have been getting a Brazilian wax for 20 years and the only time I have issues with my skin after is when the wax is pulled with cotton strips. Prior to getting a wax today, I checked if strip wax was used. I was assured it wouldn’t be and that they chose what wax is used. I again clarified that I don’t want “strip wax” used on me in certain regions. The blend of wax doesn’t matter, what matters is the method of removal. I tried to explain this but my concerns wete brushed off.It was used regardless of what I said. I am now in pain and can feel trauma to the skin. I have only ever experienced this one other time, when cotton strips where used to remove the hair.The therapist went against my direct request and wishes. I paid $58 for a wax that is has caused trauma to my skin and will inevitably cause ingrown hairs.I felt angry that my wishes were not respected, and upon calling to say that it isn’t okay and speak to head office, I was belittled by the receptionist and told i didn’t get to chose what was used on me. Asked if I was a beauty therapist. Finally I was being yelled at and not being taken seriously when giving feedback (basically told they are the experts), I was hung up on.You may think you are the experts but you are the 2nd worst wax, I have had in 20 years. I don’t normally even feel my waxes, and today was painful.I don’t care how much of an expert you think you are in waxing, I expressly didn’t give consent for my hair to be ripped out with cotton strips. It should have been made clear as I would have cancelled the wax immediately.I also had to check the colour being used for my tint. This is not a new procedure for me. Every time I am consulted that I am happy with the selection. Today, I had to ask as it was being put on.I would not recommend using this business. You won’t be respected as a client and the arrogance of thinking you have the right to tell me I don’t get to chose what I used on my skin is beyond belief.

Absolutely disgusting service from the head/s of this company Nadia Lodge and Jo-Anne Maree. They have NO idea about great customer service. Sadly their hygiene is extremely poor and wax is being double dipped. Management went as far as lying to all clients stating effective immediately Caloundra store was on holidays; all existing appointments cancelled and advised to make appointments with their other stores instead. A staff member informed me that this was not the case and that the truth was ‘they couldn’t get staff because no one wants to work for a company who treats their staff so poorly’. I’m assuming this to be true given the attacking and defensive way the management have responded to me.The added excuse behind covid is simply that.Further to this the owner has blatantly lied below in their response to this review printing me to add to this review. Jo-Anne Maree & Nadia Lodge have stated that a refund on cancellation of membership was issued - NOT TRUE, in fact they chose to unprofessionally ignore requests to honour the cancelled membership after a dispute regarding a past transaction. Moving forward they DID NOT refund any part of my $99 membership fee, instead I attended my rescheduled appt at Mooloolaba and afterwards the staff ember called Nadia who was heard stating the service was complimentary which was very dishonest and manipulative of the management as they took it upon themselves to state the service was instead of refunding any cancellation of membership fees; to this day there is still money outstanding owed by Brazilian Hut.I have never received a phone call or correspondence in person.I think it’s clear to those who read this review and the managements response that they continue to display their unprofessional and unethical conduct.Nadia Lodge- the addit is in response to your reply; if you continue to lie, manipulate and twist facts then the public have the right to tell their truth. Perhaps the right thing should have been done from the beginning and my time would have been spent promoting your business is a more positive light..This opportunity exists for clients to give honest feedback of their experience with the company; a healthy business owner would take on board said feedback in order to constructively grow; not this one.The threat of slander or legal action is certainly your option and you are well within your rights to do so. This is welcomed as the outcome, evidence and all it’s entirety would be public knowledge.

They are not operations in Caloundra anymore and the customer service from their Mooloolaba store was dreadful .
