Charlestown Medical & Dental Centre

Normal very pleasant experience here, apparently there was a cancellation so we arrived there and I didn’t realise it wasn’t being bulk billed, so we had to take her to hospital to get some medical treatment as I tried seeing my regular gp but they were booked, I think I recognised dr name so perhaps it was personality clash situation but we shouldn’t be forced to take our children to hospital when if there was appointments available then we wouldn’t need to take up a hospital spot, where as I could have arranged an ultrasound for her if we were able to take this appointment unfortunately I wasn’t able to financially, so had to make other arrangements. I really feel they need to bring back more bulk billing options so people can get medical treatment when needed if they are struggling financially.

I had a great experience , everbody is friendly and helpful from the reception doctors and nurses.

The lady at the reception desk (I think her name was Mina? ) was very kind and patient. She made me feel comfortable while I was waiting. Dr Jai and the nurse who took a blood sample from me was also very nice.

Front desk lady was friendly and helpful. The doctor I saw seemed as though she did not want to be there. Absolutely miserable and no energy.Asked questions but general attitude was pretty poor. Booked a long consult because I needed asthma plan checked and some other things but didn’t even get my lungs checked, listened to or anything. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here sorry guys.

Appointment at 9:30, I presented myself to reception with my appointment time & doctors name at 9:20. I then waited, waited, & waited. 10:30 approached the reception desk and ask when I would be seeing the doctor. Reception check and found I was not on the list. Got to see the doctor at 10:45, & was told that this happens quite regally. So always check that reception has confirmed that you are on the list.

Only giving 1 star as you’re not able to give 0 stars.Sophi Roy is the rudest and most unprofessional ’doctor’ I have ever met.She should have her medical license reviewed.I sent a formal complaint to the practice, though they didn’t even bother to respond.Don’t waste your time or money going here.

Fantastic staff and doctors.Dr Syed Hasan is so patient and genuinely an awesome doctor.Sue at the desk is always welcoming and patient.The nurses are always beautiful and everyone is caring and we leave feeling like we’ve had the best care.Thank you to an amazing caring team

Great service, efficient communication. Friendly and professional staff at the counter. I'm a patient of Dr Hamidi for about 9 years. He is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but he is easy to speak with. He goes over the diagnosis clearly and patiently. It's not easy to find a doctor that shows care and support.

After battling health issues for months I found an appointment here pretty quickly. I can now see why appointments are so available. I seen Dr Roy who showed no interest in my symptoms, I felt ignored & she had a horrible attitude the whole appointment. I was in and out with no result or help. I left in tears after not getting the help I desperately needed
