Excellent service. We had the tasting menu and the wine tasting list went well with the foods. Definitely worth to try.

Enjoyed our experience in the restaurant. Food was delectable and different. Highlighting local produce. The waiting staff were nice and friendly and happily answered any questions regarding the food and wine. The wines available is from the property ' Creed Wines' and are certainly a nice drop. In summer this would be definitely be a high end gourmet experience.

Good relaxing evening with our hosts recommendations going down a treat. The gin we tried as a pre dinner drink was excellent. Soup and steak was cooked to perfection.

We had high tea, and loved it, glad we managed to get in now as heard the priceless antiques are going to be sold, a great loss to the place and Lyndoch

Sat 30 April 20226 of us were here for dinner. Absolutely divine dining experience! The chef here is seriously very good, and the ambience excellent. The beef ribs were melt in the mouth tender. Every dish was delicious. The desserts (brownie, lemon syrup cake, custard tart) we had were all excellent. Menu prices also more than reasonable. We were here for dinner on Friday 12-02-2021, and will definitely be back. The 2 waiting staff young ladies were very friendly and efficient, and we liked the nice touch with the fresh rose and candle. We started with a complimentary entree (crispy tempura zucchini) which was superbly light and crispy, set our expectations sky high.Entree was Zucchini chips, also excellent. The Scotch fillet steak was tender and tasty and the crispy carrot shavings on top really complemented the dish. We asked for rare, next time we will ask for medium rare.We had chocolate brownie and ice creamnfir dessert, the brownie was really delicious, crispy on top and chocolatey beneath. There was only one thing we did not enjoy, and that was the complimentary bread, the crust was not crispy, the body lacked flavour, and it came without any olive oil or butter, just balsamic vinegar only.

So visited this resturant because it had a 4.3 rating and the pics seemed nice. Sadly, I did not have the same experience to those that gave 5 stars. I'm honestly struggling to understand based on WHAT were these 5 stars given? Maybe it's the service coz that's about all that was good. I ordered the Chefs Surprise which comprises of many different meals that chef chooses to make - it's 5 course. Of those 5 courses 4 of them were vegetarian...... But I love meat :-(. The portion size was big but so much of food was wasted because the flavours just did NOT go. I literally had few bites and couldn't do it anymore - it really wasn't good. I don't want to be mean but I don't feel like these meals were prepared by a real Chef, and if they were he/she is probably really inexperienced. Btw...... This is NOT fine dining, it's very very very far from it.

Not been to restaurant but guests said it was very good. Went to the chateau/ gift shop for a great Devonshire tea, fresh warm scones & whipped cream, local jams & good tea. The gift shop is very nice, clean & loaded with all sorts of cool stuff. Definitely worth visiting.
