easily the best coffee in Fitzroy north! Long black always is perfect! Staff is friendly, place is clean! Glorious plants. I just wish the seating was different, it feels like it was changed for the lockdown restrictions and stayed that way and feels a little unwelcoming and bare? I think a better use of space could be used here but honestly delicious coffee and food and service so what more could you want!!

Picnic make a very high quality and enjoyable Rueben toastie among other excellent sandwich choices. Perfectly positioned opposite Edinburgh gardens too for when you’ve forgotten food for your ‘picnic’.

Coffee was good, staffs are nice. Yet to try their food but will be back. The rolls looked awesome.

Nate and Sally run a great cafe. Food and Coffee are always delicious. Service is great and genuine. Beware their tendency for mischief. Thank you!!

Great sandwiches and coffee at pretty good prices. I thought maybe the salad sandwich would be too plain without cheese but it’s perfect thanks to plenty of different veg and a tasty yuzu mayo. Service is always friendly too.

It's not to say you couldn't make a better toastie, but you won't. It's too much effort and you know it. In the time it would take you, you could just by one of these. Treat yourself, they're all worth trying.

Legit woke up this morning craving these sandwiches. They are the best in Melbourne. I mean that. It is delicious. You will thank me later.

I passed by picnic and it was the only place open for a coffee. I got myself a flat white and the Barista made it well. There's a great selection of food on display and it all looked really tasty. The shop has a great fit out and I really like the benches outside. No doubt I'll be back if I'm passing again.
