My Mum had her 1st Lhasa Apso groomed here for over 15 years starting from puppy, then brought her 2nd Lhasa from puppy age until she passed.Since then I have brought all of my dogs for grooming here and whenwe pull up they get so excited to be going inside, they love going to this groomer so much. When we pick them up they are proud of their new hair cut, and they smell lovely as well. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I feel very remiss in not writing this review when the incident happened, especially now hearing of other bad experiences with this dog groomer. The summer before last I took my two border collies to Salon Pooch for clipping. When I picked them up I could already see that the male, Brian, was in extreme discomfort. He had a large area of razor rash on his chest and on his bottom. He became worse next morning and had to take him to the vet on Federal Hwy (Sunday morning). Not only did Brian have severe razor rash, he had an allergic reaction to what he had been washed in. The vet told me to ring the groomer, which I did in the presence of the vet. The groomer said he washed Brian in Johnsons Baby wash. He denied the razor rash and said he had never had any complaints. The vet said he shouldn't have used human wash on Brian. Brian was so sick due to the razor rash and reaction to the wash that he spent 10 days in vet hospital. One night he got so bad I had to transfer him to the intensive care unit at the Animal Referral hospital. He nearly died. It cost me over $3000. I am still extremely angry that the Salon Pooch groomer absolutely refused to accept any responsibility and did not apologise. I do not want any other dog to suffer the way Brian did.

Thomas is a very good groomer. Offers his service at a very competitive price. Max came out looking younger, fresh and happy. Thomas is prompt, accomodating and does a neat job. I would highly recommend his service.

I highly recommend Thomas's job ,the best grooming I have ever seen on my two poodle .One of poodle was little bit difficult to handle but Thomas was very patient with her .And the price is more than reasonable!

I highly recommend Thomas. He clipped my cocker spaniel, Lola, for summer and did a marvellous job (passers-by comment that her coat looks as sleek, black and shiny as if she's been covered with boot polish!) All thanks to Thomas- he was gentle, thorough, inexpensive and squeezed in an appointment with little notice. We will continue to be regular customers.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My dogs can be very difficult and temperamental and Thomas always does a wonderful job in clipping and grooming! Very affordable for such a fabulous job! Friendly and attentive. I would 100% not take my dogs anywhere else but to Salon Pooch!
