As someone who suffers mental health / and has through most of there life I couldn't have been more happy getting ajob. the management through gavs Hospitality/cleaning especially is extremely poor is very judgemental And is not a very encouraged welcoming environment at all for new stuff young people trying to find their feet in the employment very sad ,Robert and both Steve the HR officer are very very rude and talk down to there staff when trying to discuss work place issues/

The team that work in the centre that is contracted by Gavs are amazing and go above and beyond not just for the retailers but for their customers. The guards that work in the centre go above and beyond especially the main one that’s on during the day. The cleaners are always on the ball to make sure the centre is cleaned and the guards are always around the corner and they always help when called. I wouldn’t want the Gavs workers at the centre to change as they make it feel like a family at the centre

My opinion of this business is they are terrible, they under pay workers, they refuse to put workers on the books so they can pay cash, they get $5 dominoes pizzas for Christmas lunch after teasing the crew with crust gourmet pizzas, shows how little they value their employees,I highly recommend not working for this group, specially if it's at Jesmond, they don't fix equipment, they are highly bodgy and very unprofessional, I wouldn't hire these guys to clean my dog kennel

As someone who works in one of the centres gavs subcontracts to I’ve seen first hand how rude and arrogant their staff are and how little their security cares about the safety of the centres. The owner, Allan is just as rude and arrogant as his staff, no wonder they think it’s okay to speak to and treat people the way they do with the way he speaks to and treats people.
