The best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, quick service and an amazing place to enjoy your food. Absolutely recommend to anyone visiting this incredible part of Queensland.

Purchased one serve of Shiels nest salad - calamari and salad $19. Fries an extra $3.Took back to the boat for a delicious generous dinner for 2.Total cost $11 each.

Great food, Friday night there was a live one man band there was such a great atmosphere. This seems to be a very popular spot, get there early if you want a table the sunsets are amazing from here too.Portions are generous staff are friendly. Great experience, highly recommended.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had hands down! We ordered the Red Emperor with a side of chips and both were cooked and flavoured to perfection! Friendly staff, good service, they also handed us free sauce on the house. Love this place!

We arrived just before the two o'clock break, and the service staff were already preparing for a break, but they still took our order' and were very friendly, asking about our needs in detail. The meals were delicious, the fried fish was very juicy and the salads were generous and fresh. thank you all.

Every time I come down to enjoy fish and chips by the water (very often) I am delighted by the Rusty Pelican. The food is fresh, tasty and the serves are very generous. The staff and owners are always so lovely, even in the busiest of times

Such great fish and chips here. They definitely don't skimp on the portions or the sauce. Amazing quality seafood too! The battered barramundi and prawn cutlets is very good. Would definitely come back.

Now this place is great!! Ordered fresh Spanish mackerel….. it was absolutely delicious. My son who is super picky nearly ate all mine.Calamari was huge and tender and chips were yummy. Amazing spot with great views.
