called late on a saturday arvo looking for a chance they maybe open, spoke to barb, she said come in within the hour and should be all sweet,get in and had great customer service, and a lovely chat, will see me back soon!

Spoke to the lady who owned the store, and I have never experienced better quality service, as well as advice from a Gun Store owner. Very pleased to know that this kind of Customer service still exists, and I will be buying all my guns from this store in the future.

Rudest person I ever spoke to. Thinks she is doing a favour by picking up the phone and thats after she hung up the first time. She sounded unfit to run a dim sim takeaway joint in woop woop much less a firearms place. Would give -5 stars if I could.

I think neutral professionalism would be acceptable customer service …But ignoring customers and then going straight to rude…That’s ten minutes of my life I’ll never get back.Definitely not recommended.

Dropped in here to buy some ammo. Had a lovely chat with the owner. They didn’t have what I wanted because of some issues her supplier was having, brought some ammo to try. Easy pleasant transaction.

I am very disappointed with the service from Bayswater firearms. I have been into the store several times, spoken to Barb several times. And usually she is very receptive to customers, and happy to have a chat about firearms etc. I made a phone call today just to confirm something. As I wasn’t 100% sure on the procedure (legal transfer of gun ownership from a friend). She was very rude on the phone, and I felt like she was disgusted that I was asking the question. When she began explaining the process, I said “ohh right, yep that make sense”, and she responded “mate, are you going to let me finish or what? Do you want the information you call for or not!?”.I am not sure if she felt I interrupted her? I didn’t interrupt her, and her response took me by surprise, I didn’t even know how to respond.I’m not sure how she missed that one up.But even so if I had interrupted her, the response was extremely poor, and has resulted in this negative review.That is just not how you treat people. Now she might of been having a bad day, which is fine, we all do. But that does not mean people do not deserve respect through all interactions. If you’re having a bad day, don’t answer the phone.Unfortunately, I think that’s it for me. I won’t be shopping here again for any ammunition, rifles or reloading supplies. I don’t know what it is about gunshop owners, but there seems to be an absolute polarisation between nice customer based owners, and gun shop owners that really need to move on sell the business and do something else. Sorry Barb, but you’ve lost a customer today and any future purchases, and any future recommendations.Might be time to move on.

Business is business, Babra does not know how to pretend she is not there to earn the money like other shops do, I recon that's why you see one stars here. Service is good, good information. Keep the good work, I will visit again.
