This is one of the best and grooviest tip shops around...Ben is so great remembering us whenever we make a trip out here...thankyou Ben for being a real darling person...the tools and garden products are all here...you can get anything and everything here...you must check it out!!

The refuse tip is great exept for 1 male who was working in section 3C. Obviously he is paid to sit on his phone and not assist the public

Most staff are very nice and helpful thought there is an older woman that is always nasty even to her coworkers. She tried to tell us to put still wet commercial type glue in general waste instead of the chemical area.The shop is no better, overpriced stuff or no price tags on anything and I can overhear the workers saying that they “saved” something good for themselves.

Greater Toowoomba Waste Management Facility
Very modern and well organised facility. When you go in, tell the operator what you have to dispose of and they will direct you to different sections of the facility. You can then leave most of your items for recycling, including garden waste, wood, metal, Styrofoam, cardboard, plastics, batteries, etc. Anything that can be reused is sold through the onsite store. The remaining items then go into the general waste section, where it is squashed down. Great work by the Toowoomba Regional Council.

Pretty clean for a dump - minimal bin juice and surprisingly didn't smell like dead animals and rotten fruit. Felt like I was playing an arcade game with the scoopy truck in the general waste section. Staff were helpful.

It's a bit awkward to offload stuff because every type of rubbish must be put in seperate areas that you drive between. You basically have to learn how everything is laid out and then pack your trailer/tray by order of drop off.Staff are much improved in recent months (I think there was a management change) but they could benefit from being an bit more customer friendly. I know it's not the staff's job but if they're not attending to something else why not offer to help unload and move clients through quicker?
