Relax Beauty Nails & Laser Clinic

I had a new set of eyelash extensions done on Saturday. They looked fantastic, but the next morning my right eye was badly swollen. I contacted via facebook and I got an instant reply, saying that it looked (I sent photo) and sounded like a reaction to their glue. They suggested antihistamines and/or eye drops. If it hadn't settled down by Monday/Tuesday recommended removing them. Fair enough. Monday my eye was much worse and my left eye was starting to react. I sent a message again, but no response. I then rang the salon and explained what happened and was told that the earliest that they could do anything was Tuesday. I explained that it was getting much worse and I was concerned that if I left it another day it will only get worse still. I was told that there was nothing that they could do. I reluctantly accepted appointment for Tuesday. I rang around other beauty salon's but unfortunately couldn't get anything booked as people were nervous about dealing with something that wasn't done at their salon and the possible reaction. I saw my doctor and got advice on what to do, which was to get the eyelashes off urgently. I ended up resorting to Google and managed to remove myself, via olive oil rub on the eyes. My eyes today are still sore and swollen, but the minute I got the lashes off it immediately started to settle down.I tried called Relax back to 1. cancel my appointment with them and 2. to discuss further what had happened. I have not received a call back at all and I believe that I have been completely forgotten. They have after all received my payment of $99 for the full set, which I needed to remove myself two days later!I am really disappointed with the lack of after care. I don't know if it was the glue they used or what has caused this, as I have had false eyelashes a number of times in the past with no issue. I however, have not been able to discuss or resolve with the company. I asked if it was possible for a refund, which again hasn't been discussed in detail other to quickly point out that it was a reaction of mine and nothing to do with the technician.I guess - for me it is a first time experience with this company and it will definitely be my last. I understand that things can go wrong but I do expect some care and follow through, of which I do not feel that I have received.For any eyelash work - I would definitely be hesitant, just in case you have a reaction as well.

The Relax team are very friendly, professional and great at what they do. I have now been a client for a few years and never once dissappointed. Whether its a massage, facial, eyebrows, nails... Always exceed my expectations and walk out feeling great. Thank you ladies!

Relax , perfectly named! I have been going to Relax now for the last two months for a massage, facial and fortnightly for eyebrow waxing- All the Therapists are always very friendly, punctual and certainly know their craft. I've recommended many of my friends to Relax and they love it!!!!

The leg and back massage was perfectly applied with just the right amount of firmness to remove the muscle knots that had been developing over the past few months. The price is more than suitable for the atmosphere this place has. Very relaxing and perfect way to finish up after work.

A few days ago, I went to relax beauty for follow up of my microblading. The service was great! Michelle who worked on my eyebrows is a professional, very friendly and caring person. She made sure I was 100% happy and was very patient with me. I highly recommend relax beauty.

I wont be back and will not be recommending to anyone else. Maybe they are trying to get rid of male clients!I have been going to relax for 7 years on and off for massages. They use to be great however with recent changes they seem to have lost the plot when it comes to who is the customer and how to provide customer service.This week went in for an hour massage. Firstly they make me fill out another personal details form even though I have been there many times. Then I go in for the massage and get grilled for another 10 or so minutes. I explain I just come here to relax and get a massage, you know tune out for an hour. The Therapist then works on my back, I mean works, no relaxation. Before I know it, the session is over. I then get asked to pay $5 more than the scheduled fee. I go to my car to see the time is only just an hour since I went in. Bottom line, was lucky to get 45 minutes for the hour, paid more than should have, only got my back done, when I normally get whole body and when I questioned the staff, they tell me That's no good
