Cant give 0 stars.Everything about Cobram is beautiful, except for the useless council.We took our dogs down to the river for a nice quiet picnic, unaware, this was not allowed, we were greeted by a council dog catcher" who was HEAVILY abusive and disrespectful.We tried to be nice

So after camping down the river near cobram and spending a fair bit of money in the local town over the two weeks we were there, i was shocked to find the fella at the tip demanding $5 to dump one bag of rubbish, many others have just left their rubbish laying around the local camp grounds you try to do the right thing. Thankfully a local servo had no issue with us putting our one bag of rubbish in their skip as frankly i was prepared to leave it on the council chambers doorstep. Sure i can understand if you have a trailer load or something though a camper who even mentioned that he was a camper having to pay that price for one bag is abit much even my partner mention a gold coin donation would have been acceptable though i can now see why people are just leaving their rubbish around campsites.

So rude, they told us if our dog gets out again they are gonna put her down. my dog is harmless
