Listen, i posted about this on my personal IG and Facebook page, but I'm posting here because i need to.I am a NY'er in every sense. I know breakfast sandwiches, and sandwiches in general. Hell, I used to make breakfast sandwiches for a living, but regardless, I need people to know how INCREDIBLE This sandwich was. it's a Top 3 breakfast sandwich of all time!A friend of mine (a fellow NY'er who now calls Australia home) and I were driving by and I asked her to stop when I saw the word Diner. We entered and I didn't know what to get so I asked the young lady behind the counter What are you known for?"Without skipping a beat she said "The double double"What is that you ask? it's 2 eggs

Excellent coffee and great service. Burgers were very good. Beautiful spot to sit across from the beach. Loved it. Worth the stopover. While you're there, go across and have a look at the beach and rock pool, it's amazing

Caters to GF/allergies, directly across from the beach and amazing service and food. We had GF burger, schnitzel burger, Hoki, barramundi, all yum! Worth a visit!

Had the grilled barramundi with chips and strawberry milkshake. Good choice and the fish was fantastic.

Fantastic experience on 2 nights we came here. Highlight was the seafood curry. Great sashimi. Seafood treated with respect.

Chiko roll was over cooked and dried out inside. Seafood sticks mushy and horrible. Chips were OK. Milkshake good after I asked for more flavouring. Wouldn't rush back.

The best fish & chips in the area! The fish is always delicious, and the fries are good. One of the he best experiences around, a high standard fish & chips place. They also have breakfast burgers, and fresh salads available, and the staff is always friendly, happy and welcoming. My definitely go to when I want to have a nice picnic by the beach.

We had great burgers in here; they even had some good gluten free options for us.The owner is a very kind person. I accidentally left my bag in the shop, and he took the time to arrange for it to be posted back to me interstate. So be sure to get behind this great business if you are in the Austinmer area, or if heading that way pull in and have something on the beach.

We are tuned to see a dining experience as a good thing...not so here, although an experience it certain was..the rancid fetta and mouldy cucumber in the salad as far away from Greek as Anchorage would have provided an unforgettableexperience had i proceeded to eat it all. Crumbed fish is dusted in flour, dipped and drained in egg, and lightly crumbed. Here, they dredge the poor (grey, paper thin) new Zealand export in a sludge batter better suited to putting up wallpaper before crusting it in crumbs. The result is a cardboard casing worth submitting to Visy as a possible breakthrough in long haul transport wrapping. Disasters are few and far between in my well lived life. This one was only saved by Thailand's farmed barramundi" that somehow survived the grill. The only edible element of the exercise. Happy to provide feedback then and there
