COTA Insurance

my flood insurance has just gone up 9000+ %. Not happy

No different to any other Insurance Co - get you in then dismiss you on the fine detail

Mum asked me help her check out travel insurance as cota had been recommended to her by a friend. Took a while to figure out how to put in the answers they wanted so we could see how much it would be for the cover mum will need.

Being a mature female insurance company's don't really want to insure you according to them we are about to fall of the perch.I am a senior in my 7th decade but I am not dead and don't plan on falling off the perch anytime soon.Cota insurance would insure me for os travel and I also liked the Covid coverage offeredJust be aware not all insurers cover for Covid and you want one for hotel quarantine unfortunately no cover for Govt closing borders but a proportion of premium will be refunded and travel should come from travel providerSome insurers won't insure 12 months from travel dates a tad hard when trip booked now and money paid be it deposit or entirarity of cost.Prior to Covid travel insurance could be taken 12 months.Some insurers no phone contact just email and some don't cover for travel at all under Covid .To me a bit irresponsible being that insurer is meant to be there for the seniors.So I went with Cota and like any insurance I hope I don't have to use it another of life's must have
