Personally I had a great experience at this Bunnings, every item is visible and well presentable. Asked staff for some help and that’s exactly what I got! Kudos .

Lovely store and staff but dont go to get keys cut there currently. I had 4 attempts, 1/4 tank of petrol and was on the 4th visit told to go to a lock smith. I did. Lock smith said their machine faultly it is not cutting the keys deeply enough. The store did give me my money back ( for 2 keys) - but 4 trips back and forth from Elwood was not great for me. I don't know if my other nearest store which is Bunnings Mentone has a different machine - in the many years I have been going there for keys only 1 in 10 fails. The first visit at Port Melbourne of the 8 keys I had cut only 2 worked - and they not well. The subsquent visits for the others - 4 keys work but not well, and for the last 2 - as mentioned above - a complete fail. However - my puppies love visiting all Bunnings store's - I don't think they mind at all.

Went in for cord blind hooks. Found the isle but no stock look 15 minutes for a Bunnings assistant only to be directed to another assistant and then to another assistant this happened 4 times the last assistant reminded that it wasn’t his section and told me there’s none on shelf we don’t have it. Very helpful.

Bought a drill and the staff were very friendly and helpful as I knew nothing about them. The staff member helped me with the drill bits too and made sure I got the right ones to fit my drill.

Good spot however only complaint is that they don't seem to replenish stock at even half the rate of other stores. Also they don't update their stock availability on their website very well at all. Be prepared to check in advance and still not find what you're looking for

Pretty bad click and collect service. I arrived in the arvo to get my order both ladies saw me waiting but didn't bother to acknowledge me nor greet me right away. They were too busy having their own personal conversations right in front of me. I waited for 5 minutes before being served and they did apologise without me saying anything. I don't know why people like this work in service. Wouldn't it be quicker to serve me first then continue your personal conversations? In this case it would've been faster if I picked my own order and went through checkout.

Bunnings is a great place for DIY jobs. You can find everything you need under the one roof. Unfortunately customer service was very poor. In such a large store there were very minimal number of staff to provide assistance. I was told that I had to wait 2 hours till someone from that particular department will be available to help. It is really disappointing that customer service is not a priority in the store.

I used to love Bunnings, it's cheap, you can usually find what you want on your own, but the way Bunnings willfully and intentionally held the government's hand over COVID, unconscionable. It's pure luck masters went under before covid else they would've been in big trouble. They're a hair away of being woke enough to go broke" lol
