Amazing country butcher shop. The best meat you’ll find anywhere. He makes his own bacon & hams. His sausages are some of the tastiest you’ll ever eat. Well worth calling in to Augathella.

Picked up 4 rump steaks during our recent stay at the main camping spot at the end of the main street and cooked a couple on the BBQ today. I am always a bit wary of rumps on the BBQ given the wide difference in quality. However, these were the absolute best we have ever had. We should have bought a whole rump! Magnificent. Thanks. See you on the way back.

Great country butcher with the service to match.He had just shut for the night when I pulled into town after reading reviews. He opened the shop and politely said come in.This butcher is the real deal. From paddock to plate.I’ll be back when next passing bye.

Called in on the way past and got some rump and smokey sausages. The rump was about as good as I've had but the smokey sausage was probably the best I've had, wish I got more.

Purchased lamb chops when travelling through. The best lamb I have had in years. Wish I could get a delivery to north bris. Very reasonable price too. The bacon was also superb.

This would be the best butcher I have ever been to… he’s steak is so tender and thick the ham is the best ham we have ever eaten… I wish I bought a lot meat from here… do yourself a favour if you are in Augathella and buy some meat you won’t be sorry

Called in yesterday 9/10/2020 and there was a queue, in a town of 400 people that is amazing and so was their meat.We had their ham which they sliced straight off the bone for lunch and their steak Diane for dinner tonight.If you are near Augathella pop in, you won’t be disappointed

After reading reviews went with high expectations - but just another routine butchers. Bought rib fillet which was some of the toughest I’ve had in a while. I expect better meat from Coles and Woolworths.Maybe we were unlucky on the day.
