Beaconsfield Fish n Chips
I have tried Fish and Chips all around Hallam, Narre Warren, Berwick and Pakenham and hands down Beaconsfield Fisn n Chips is the best Fish n Chips that I have come across. Chips are not hollow like other places. Fish and scallops are tasty. Well worth the visit and highly recommended.

We've had fish & chips from this shop twice now & each time it was perfect. Not greasy, good size portions. Scallops are lovely and fresh. Flake - it's nice to have a piece of fish where you can actually taste the fish & not the batter around it. Chips are cooked just right & the oil used appears to be clean. Husband raved about the steak sandwich. Couldn't find fault with anything we ate & will keep coming back, There are heaps of fish & chips shops closer to us but we have tried them all before and find the quality to be rubbish. Highly recommend this shop - best in the area!

I gave this shop 1 last chance on Wednesday 4/8/21 because I had stopped going after some terrible results. Their hamburgers are good and the Barramundi otherwise, honestly, some of these shop owners ought to do a cooking course! The potato cakes [see pics] have JUST got some potato in them if you like it the width of a business card! They must cut the potatoes on a meat slicer and get about 40 cakes per spud! These and the chips are over cooked and very greasy! The flake is very small albeit proper Gummy. Not going back BUT have tried every shop in Berwick, Beaconsfield, Emerald and Cockatoo area and none are any better!

Unfortunately this has to be the worst fish and chips we’ve had in the area. Completely tasteless fish and onion rings. Batter was horrible and tasteless. The only things that were okay were the things that you can’t really stuff up too much because you buy them and cook them which was the croquettes and the dim sims and the corn jacks.

The fish I received was on the smaller side, which was disappointing. While the fish was cooked adequately, the batter4 wasn't particular ycrispy. The dimmy were nice and the scallop was okay. The overall experience was just okay, and didn't leave a lasting impression. On a positive note, the delivery service was prompt and efficient. .

It is one of the better fish and chips around the area. Not oily and tasty, however, through the months, the size of the flake had decreased in size, and the serving of the minimal chips had also been reduced. Service is not too bad here, but the price could be better. Other than that, not too bad at all.

Beaconsfield Fish n Chips
New owners, beware, as the potato cakes have halved in size. The old owners used to always double up on any of the potato cakes that were small. I ordered 12 potato cakes and when i got home inside the pack were 10 bite sized ones and 3 that were a little bigger. Not fair for $1 each... I called them and they said if I would like to come back they would give me 1 more... GET REAL!! You just lost a good customer.
