Broughton Bay RV Park

Broughton Bay RV Park is a beautiful paradise oasis amidst the long roads and unending fields. It is quirky, interesting and gives you that tropical feel. The RV park is $10 donation. The box is inside a eye-catching telephone booth, there is an envelope to write your name, rego, comments and suggestions. They have a $4 for 80ltr potable water for sale. $15 for 15kgs firewood. Refreshing nipa huts surrounds the cemented area next to the camping spots. There is na aviary with birds. A tiki bar with stools and a ship on the background several seating areas adorned with bright flowers. A little bridge that leads to the shed which houses a dining table with chairs, a fridge with a book library, a BBQ with a grill and flat pan and a small stove with free Gas. They also have a wood heater in the shed. No water inside the shed. Across the nipa hit areas there is a.femced dog area, next to an the bins. The camping ground is cleverly lined with rows of small palm plants which serves as a order per vehicle, very ingenious and adds to the tropical feel. The camping spots are on soil.and there are prickly and burs.but manageable. You have to be self contained as there is no toilet, nor showers and electricity. The camp also has several artworks on display on the outpost coming in the camp by a local artist. All in all it is a camp you have got to visit.when you are in Port Broughton. Thank you Broughton Bay RV Park for memorable stay. Hopefully in the future there will be a drop toilet or paid shower in the works! Generators allowed.

A very pretty spot. A lot of effort has been made to make the a pleasant stay. Particular landscaping makes is quite unique.water $2x2 for 80L.

Nothing more than some parking bays. $10 p/n, privately owned property. 72hrs time limit.Yes oasis looking area out front which whilst attractive, is not of much use to the general traveller. Off leash dog area...so good if you have a dog.NO amenities..Must be Self Sufficient. Drinking water available for a cost $4 x 80 litres.

Very nice! Arriving at night, I loved the tropical theme with the colourful lights. Laid back atmosphere and .. there is have a aviary!!

Beautiful stop at Port broughton, the effort that has gone into this park to make a lovely oasis for weary travellers is fantastic.wayne has done all this himself, all the artwork is his and there is a camp kitchen a bar to sit and have a quiet drink and a dog run for your fur babies. For only 10 dollars a night it is well worth it , the effort he has gone to is well worth the money..Awesome place ,will be back. No toilets ,for self contained vehicles only.

Lovely quiet spot. No facilities. Self contained only. Dog off leash enclosure. Highly recommend

Nice park. Areas separated by palms. Camp kitchen area is well done. $10 per night...only a couple of k's from town.
