Well i don't know where to start .. Never been so disappointed with a company in my whole Mining career . (And i never worked one day with them)They don't preach there Company values at all .. All smoke and mirrors.I had been contacted by the Recruitment Superintendent about a Mining Supervisor role at Kathleen Valley. Wont mention any names.After many calls about the above mentioned position i accepted her offer. Completed all the on-line training, full medical, all fine. At the time i was happily retired , traveling around this great country of ours.I received my first phone call when we where in Newcastle ... New South Wales ... yep on the other side of Australia.I completed all that was required of me to be hired by this company.I was given a date for my Medical (Ballarat Victoria) 20/03/2023 completed this task.Then i was given a date to fly out of Perth .. 14/04/2023 .. Yep all good.Meanwhile we have then travelled across from the other side of Australia back to Perth .. this is when it gets interesting.My wife has taken the call from the Recruitment Superintendent (I was away playing golf ) and it was not good news, yep we have travelled across Australia to be told their was no position available.I have kept up my end of the agreement only to be told this news.After a few phone calls this person even said to me I have stalked you all the ways across Australia.In another conversation it was even mentioned, if this had been me I would have asked for a Contact of Employment.But I'm old school .. my word is good.
