Best Western Motel Farrington

Wow - a gem and a bargain! Firstly the Motel is an older place (1970's perhaps) but it's like the rooms were finished weeks ago. I find older style motels are great in that they have larger rooms, ample storage and bench space nice sound proofing and windows you can even open, Best Western Farrington has all that including lovely high ceilings.The room and entire hotel area and facilities are immaculate hardly a thing seems out of place and nigh a cigarette butt to be seen. The room itself was exceptioany clean the heater was turned on upon arrival and all fixtures, paint, appliances and bedding was in excellent condition and well presented. It doesn't end there - affordable room service, in house laundry, big complimentary soaps (not those little teeny ones) nice gardens and very centrally located. For us, as a family of four they had a room to suit at a price you might have paid in the 90's, magic!

Nice simple rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. They allowed us to lock our motorbikes into a storage shed for the night for security. Highly recommended place to stay, especially for motorbike riders.

It was an easy and quick transaction late at night. The owner was very friendly and polite, and very flexible and approachable (we are difficult to please sometimes). The rooms are incredibly clean and very nicely designed for a motel type, beds very comfortable, so cozy and all necessities provided with care and style. We even found 2 minute soup packs and sewing kits, so thoughtful. Wow. I felt very welcomed and happy after a long and tiring trip with two kids.Cons: walls could be a bit more sound proof, i could hear, although quite muffled, snoring in the next room.But all in all very impressive for a motel type in the middle of nowhere. Will use again if i ever travel that way again.

It’s an alright place that really needs an upgrade. From their carpets that have to be changed. Change ur towels from brown to white please. Change ur linen to all white with neat white bed covers. Rooms have old air cons that have dust. Microwave and working fridges are needed in ur rooms please.

This is a really nice, old school motel. From check in to check out, the experience was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially with finding a place to get dinner.The room itself was clean and comfortable. I was only staying one night so I didn't use all the things that were available, like the fridge, microwave or any of those. But you could if needed.Overall, it was exactly what I like in a motel, clean, comfortable bed and a hot shower.One observation, and this has nothing to do with the hotel itself, my phone GPS brought me to the wrong end of the road that the hotel is on. Watch for that, especially if you arrive at night, like I did.

Very clean and great location. Beds can definitely do with an upgrade though, because it was very bouncy and uncomfortable, not the best of sleep but considering it was a short stay , it was bearable. If you plan on staying more than 2 or 3 nights, you have to put up with that. Otherwise AC worked well, nice spacious shower and basic amenities. They maintain the premises well.

While the rooms/washrooms were neat and clean, and all the available facilities were working perfectly fine, but my primary reason of giving the 5 STAR rating is for a different cause, which is my overall experience in dealing with the on-ground people at the Motel.Unfortunately while checking out, I forgot my wallet at the motel which had my credit/debit cards, car license, cash and everything else. The next day, I hesitantly contacted them and explained my issue. In-turn, they not only helped me in locating my wallet under the bed, but also helped me to courier the same via registered post at my home address. My complete wallet has been received by me this morning. I am very much Thankful and Happy for the Motel people for their generous gesture and honesty :)

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was considering the small country town we were staying in. The staff were all lovely, the bed so comfy and the shower the best. Well done and thankyou for having us. xx

Mattress so old and hard got no sleep. Water in shower took several minutes to get hot and the went cold very quickly. The room was so cramped and claustrophobic . It felt like the 70s. Pillows were rocks also. Literally the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t know how this is a Best Western motel and the price of $140 . Stayed in a Wagga motel two nights ago and it was fantastic and cheaper. A disgrace they rent out this room ‘under the stairs’. Room 25.
