Bowen Barber

Sort out the traditional barber experience, whilst visiting Bowen for the day. What a let down.Couldn't even stand in the shop for a minute. Stank of urine, dog or human hair all over the waiting chairs.That were obviously the original waiting chairs, at least 40 years old, and hadn't been cleaned ever.15 customers before me, hair and neck wraps on the floor around the barber chair. A bowl of bicarb soda under the chairs to try to absorb the smell. Not quite working.Yes,I was just visiting, so definitely won't be back, I feel really disappointed for the locals..To run a small business, you really should try a little bit harder. To keep the place clean at least.I simply apologized and left. Hopefully the owner reads this, and makes a small effort. Great potential for a classic experience.

Absolutely fantastic. Great price and perfect cut. Plus the barber is a legend!
