Cauldron Distillery

On a whirlwind trip to Mount Tambourine recently , this distillery was mentioned by a local guide and hadn’t been on my radar . So we made a quick visit to Cauldron Distillery on our way back to Brisbane . It was a pity it was such a quick visit , as this would be a perfect spot to relax and spend an afternoon.The first person I meet just gave me the tasting paddle , which I enjoyed outside in the garden , but I did get some explanatory notes so I could enjoy my gin .On the way back to return the empty glasses , I meet another person, who was obviously much more knowledgeable and gave a much more rounded explanation of the gins . Apparently, the water they use is the pure spring water from the mountain , and that’s what gives the alcohol the pure clear taste .I also got a chance to taste the True Blue Gin , which quickly became my favourite of the day.Honestly wish I had more time at this place , it’s hard to give it the justice it deserves in such a short amount of time I spent there. They definitely deserve the awards they have won , especially as they opened during the pandemic . I think we can expect big things from this place.

Do you like Gin? Do you like beautiful vineyards? Then Cauldron Distillery is the place to be for you! They don't offer too much more than a beautiful serene view, and a fabulous bar, but for a newly opened distillery/vineyard, they're out of the gates to a great start. I enjoyed my gin tasting paddle immensely, and my only recommendation would be to decrease the prices a little bit. For $20 each to get a tasting paddle, I'm half tempted to just purchase a bottle of gin to share instead, but then I wouldn't be able to try all the fabulous gin! Keep it up guys, you're doing a great job.

Had lunch with friends - food was fresh and despite a small menu it was really really well down - would definitely eat here again. 2 members of our party also participated in the gin making workshop and had a great time. They were very excited to share their creations with us.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cauldron. The gins were fantastic, cocktails amazing and- as I was the designated driver - the barstaff even made me a mocktail based on their cocktail list.Our outside table had a beautiful view of the vines. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable.Could not have asked for a better way to finish our day.

We love visiting Cauldron Distillery. It's such a relaxing vibe with great food, amazing gin and gin cocktails! And they have a gorgeous purple velvet couch just for me! :D

Celebrated my birthday over the weekend. The place is amazing, the cocktails, the drinks, the food, the atmosphere and the staff were all 10/10. Love that there is a big open space for the kids to play and kick a ball. Will definitely be back!

Attended the gin tour today with Glen and Nick. Great guys, Nicks hair is on point. Had an awesome day! Learned all about making gin and tasted their gins and great food with our friends from Tesla owners club Australia, awesome team, thanks Shelby and Loz for great service and cocktails. What a great day at an awesome venue. You have to check out this Mount Tambourine gem. 5 stars

Great experience, worth a visit. Tried the tasting paddle of 5 different gin. The guy at the bar knows the product very well. We got ourselves a bottle of limoncello to enjoy at home
