Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands

Dont even bother! If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place has the most appalling customer service of any business I have ever dealt with. They care NOTHING about their customers and only about price gouging. They NEVER return phone calls when promised and will not honour any quoted price, instead hiking the prices up to ridiculous levels for no reason whatsoever. Supposedly one of the best hotels in Melbourne but do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY. Because of this experience alone I will NEVER consider or recommend ANY Marriott location anywhere.

I love everything about this hotel. The new modern rooms, the excellent customer service, the M Club lounge, and how they treat their elite members. Always my go to hotel for Melbourne. The swimming pool is very nice and it's right above the shops, so there's always something to do for everyone in the family.

The choice was excellent! The hotel corridor is fancy and room was super clean and neat. The customer service was amazing. We arrived 8:30am in the morning and the manager, Ali, let us have early check-in which made us so relaxed from the long flight and gave us the highest level which my boy wanted so long…The pool was the hit! Spectacle view and just right temperature…perfect! The best hotel pool I’ve ever been…I will definitely come back!!

Room: was clean and spacious and view wasn't amazing but was still nice and wasn't horrible. Bed was amazing!Food service: what I did order came quickly and tasted good, only downside is small portions for the price. And very limited things to choose from. (Especially desserts).Biggest downside is that the spa wasn't working! And pool was cold? So couldn't even use it :/ Pool bar is nice and view is lovely. ( also for first timers- POOL is only the first 2 elevators and you have to us your room card to scan thing in elevator to go up to your room!) I Did not know this when I first went.

Great location. This was a work trip but a facility suited all my needs. The gym was great with an amazing view. Walking distance to local restaurants if you want to dine out.

I had a fantastic stay at Marriott. The room was of high quality and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had been upgraded to a superior room. The spacious bathroom design was a standout feature and made me feel quite comfortable. I enjoyed the thoughtful touch of sliding mirrors which seamlessly connect the bathroom to the bedroom. I highly recommend this hotel, with the only suggestion being to upgrade the hair-dryers which, for a five-star property, were a bit basic. Overall, great experience.

Stayed at this hotel earlier this year for a music concert as it’s in a great location and easy 15 minute walk to Marvel Stadium. We booked a basic room with breakfast, parking and late check out package. Check in and out were seamless.The room was modern and clean with all the essentials. Breakfast had a great variety of foods to chose from and was quite tasty. Parking was a bit difficult to determine at first as it’s not located within the hotel, but rather down the road and up some levels of parking. This made it particularly difficult to get back to the hotel with luggage as no lifts were working and it was a considerable amount of stairs we had to get down to get there. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool facilities but it looked fantastic.

Great place to stay in Melbourne, especially with a free tram giving access to the CBD and Queen Victoria market. Even the docklands are a good place to explore with plenty of excellent eating spots. Overall a good job by all the service employees. The only thing is that on the weekend they seemed to oversell the executive suites. The lounge was standing room only at dinner time with nothing left to eat. They can do better.

5-Star hotel not trusting the guest to have dressing gowns in the premium rooms and the hour wait before it turned up after you had dried off.Got asked for ID after the third service not first; to have the “room service supervisor” bring the wrong bottle opener for bubbles while the ice melted before having a drink.Called the front desk to try get your stay extended and for them to say “Just book it online with attitude” Lack of enthusiasm to redeem a drink voucher because the bar was closed? How about get room service to drop two bubbles off? Maybe that would have been too hard.House Keeping was lovely, the kitchen food was delicious. Only went there for the SPA and pool, needs maintenance and cleaning. The you can see the edge of the spa is a bit gunky.So much for service and hospitality..Should not have the Marriott name because it doesn’t deserve it.Very disappointed.
