Start of Oct 2012 - Visited showroom. Booked appt with Tania, who was very helpful, for Durham to visit & quote for blinds/curtains a week & half later.11th Oct - Durham came, measured window and discussed ideas. I wrote down my email address so Durham could forward some pictures of window dressings.31st Oct - No contact made by PSI. Went to showroom again to query delay and to look at the pictures that were supposed to have been emailed to me. Durham was out and Tania was very apologetic stating that she would get Durham to email me the pictures as discussed or to to ring me that afternoon.8th Nov - Still no contact received by PSI. Revisited showroom. Tania was again very apologetic but no explanation given. Confirmed curtain fabric and blind fabric with Tania. Tania was to order fabrics to ensure that curtains/blinds would be made prior to Xmas and to get Durham to contact me regarding quote. Tania stated that their cut off time for orders, before Xmas was still 3 weeks away.4th Jan 2013 - As of today, I have not received one phone call or email. I had stressed to both Tania & Durham that it was important to my husband and I to have curtains/blinds made for our bedroom before Xmas, as we had been sleeping on the floor of our lounge room while I had renovated our bedroom. We were both now keen to return to our bedroom. I had also advised them that I would need to order curtains/blinds for the rest of the house but would do this at a later date.If the situation had changed with PSI, that they ended up being too busy to fulfill our order and explained, we would have understood and changed our expectations. I feel we have given them enough chances and will not be following them up again, simply because of the lack of respect and courtesy they have shown me. Have since been to Carnells in Canterbury and found Claire & Annette to be extremely helpful - so far so good!

Peter Strachan Interiors are agents for Verosol blinds. I have had Verosol blinds for nearly 30 years and was so pleased with their longevity and functionality that I have recently used PSI to replace them. My experience with PSI was positive. The salesperson was on time, provided many samples for us to choose from, and went to the trouble to drop in larger samples of the colours we made a final choice from. PSI held the completed blinds for nearly two months while our renovations were completed. The installer was on time, efficient and knew his product well. Unfortunately, due to an error made in the factory, one blind did not work properly after a week or so. Durham came out, took the blind, had it repaired and, within a week reinstalled it so that it was fully operational. He replaced a clip without charge and the blind is now working perfectly. I found this business good to deal with, and their response to an unfortunate manufacturer's error to be timely and appropriate. I would use them again.
