I previously would visit this Vinnies store at Annerley every 6 weeks or so.I would pick up the odd useful kitchen item or reasonably priced piece of clothing. This isn't the case anymore! It has been a while since I've visited because the last 2 times the shop's pricing had got quite expensive. If you know your shopping you will notice many things you could buy in a shop, new, for less. I heard customers in the shop making this remark about objects that were overpriced.I was interested to see whether my visit would be any different but unfortunately no I don't think I will waste my time going back here again.Certainly they have a fairly large range because it's a large store. They particularly had lots of sets of DVDs, not so much in the way of kitchenware. The was plenty of clothes but pricey for what they were.I noticed the books were very, very expensive. For example, one small book $15. The cheapest book in the store was $5.The Vintage pieces also very expensive in terms of 100 or more dollars. Not my type of Charity store.

$70 for a bass drum pedal, $60 for a VHS player, absolutely ridiculous.Almost all of the op shops in Brisbane have completely lost their minds with greed.Items you have obtained for free, should be passed at a discount to those willing to look through your stores.Might as well go to vintage stores these days, at least you don’t have to waste your time searching for the decent stuff.

I visited Vinnie's Annerley QldI am utterly appalled by my recent experience at Vinnie's Charity Store. The prices they have set for their items are astronomical, and it's clear that they are more interested in filling the pockets of their managers and CEOs than in providing affordable options to those in need.In a time when the cost of living is skyrocketing, one would expect a charity store to be at the forefront of caring for the community. However, Vinnie's seems to have lost sight of its purpose and has become nothing more than a profit-driven enterprise.I cannot express how disgusted I am by the inflated prices I encountered during my visit. Some items were marked as high as $170! How can Vinnie's justify charging such exorbitant amounts for second-hand goods? It's beyond comprehension and reeks of greed. To add insult to injury, they had a so-called fill a bag" promotion for clothes

Nice stuff but pretty ridiculous pricing, $125 for a dress? You’re a charity shop, you get these clothes for FREE.Also, Dangerfield is not worth $40 secondhand get a grip.

We regularly donate to this store and have been living in the area and shopping here for over 20 years. Our last donation was over 10k worth of designer clothes. My partner visited this store today on the 27th of Jan, just to see if any of our clothes were still on the racks and to see if she would have a lucky find. Whilst trying on some clothes a tag fell off one of the dresses, she promptly took the tag and the dress to the clerk and explained the situation to her. Her reply was, yeah right"

the staff had followed me around the shop the whole time I'd been in there the staff acted as though the VINNIES shop was their OWN personal business/ investment...

I can't help but feel the location of this shop is the contributing factor for the pricing alone. The pricing on most items was overpriced. They did have a huge range of stock though with women's wear being the most stocked.Parking was shared with neighbouring business, coco's, but I managed to find a park easily the day I visited.

The only point of difference compared to other op shop and other Vinnies was the price. $$$Unaffordable.Staff were not very welcoming.Fairly basic thrift store , Variety on offer was average.Disappointing experience.
