I was told by locals not to let this bloke pick up a spanner until he had a quote locked in and boy were they right. I was promised after the work that my engine would be as good as new. Lester seemed like a super bloke and I was excited. Lester was very reluctant to give me a quote and then charged me $3,000 over the original price given and came back and asked for another $2,500. The job took almost three months longer than originally quoted. I popped in to check the progress of the rebuild and Lester wasn’t there.His apprentice was working on the engine and the apprentice informed me that he had done all the work and not Lester. Lester promised me an engine as good as new. When I drove away I had an engine that had three oil leaks in it, that was hissing and spurting and running rough as guts. He then told me to run thicker oil in it as it is an old engine after all and its expected to have a few oil leaks in it. So much for an an engine that would be as good as new.The car was also detonating, making horrible pinging noises when I picked it up and Lester said that he would tune the engine as part of the original price.The tune wasn’t done and for a further $1,800 Lester offered to tune it. I took my pride and joy FPV-GTP to him and it cost me a fortune for the equivalent of a home job. I had a baby on the way and I warned him that I was on a tight budget. This wasn’t taken into account and neither was the quality of the work. This car sits in my driveway like a statue thanks to Boss Muscle.

first time customer and I wanted my ford xr6 turbo tuned I told Lester what I was hoping for and he told me what I needed to-do for that result, absolutely blown away with the results we got he knows what his talking about, I would highly recommend to anybody looking at getting your car tuned awesome bloke cant thankyou enough, cheers Lester
