Kristalz Hair Studio

Booked appointment month in advance for a specific braided updo for my graduation ceremony (merged french fishtail). I figured that would give Kristalz Hair Studio enough time to learn it if they were not sure how. On the day of my appointment it was clear that the person doing my hair had no idea of what they were doing. They restarted many times before I had to give up due to time constraints and settle for a merged dutch braid instead. My hair is thick and long and the braid didn't even hold until I got home.They had a dog running around too - which is not great when I have allergies. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

After getting a golden blonde colour put in my hair I ended up with a strawberry blonde/ red hair. When I commented on this I was told I wasn’t seeing it right and it was a lovely blonde and once I washed my hair with purple shampoo it would tone down. Two weeks later it is still red and I have had to go and pay for my hair to be redone by another hairdresser, which I couldn’t afford but I wasn’t prepared to take the risk and go back.

Great place to send your mother or wife. What I love most is that it's an experience. I thought the complimentry savoury sweets (or fruit) was a Mother's Day treat but they do it every day. How fantastic!!

I was not impressed with the services I received today. I didn't get what I asked for, I actually received worse. I had to go to different places to try and get the issues rectified - which could not happen. I'm embarrassed to be seen with my hair in such a mess. I would not recommend them.

Great studio!A big variety of services is offered by lovely staff in a very comfortable environment.You get amazing service with your satisfaction guaranteed for a very reasonable price, haven't experienced anything better than here yet!Can highly recommend, love going there and always leave with a big smile!

I went to this salon many years ago now, I still in shock at what happened. Not only was the entire store unsanitary, but I asked for a copper with a hint of red (showed a photo and all) and walked out dark burgundy. Between not getting the colour I was after (after being told it was possible) and the unprofessional unsanitary setting I would never step foot back in this shop!!! I have seen that they recently have had their dog and birds in the shop which I am sorry is just disgusting. Hair and beauty have very high sanitary practices for a reason and I couldn't think of anything worse than sitting down in this shop for something like lash extensions.While my experience was years ago, I have left this comment purely due to them not allowing reviews back then and now allowing them. LADIES BE WARNED DONT GO HERE

Absolutely amazing family team who go above and beyond and have the cutest little mascot!Kazz went out of her way to fit in my friend and I in for a last minute appointment as we live 6hrs out of town and had a ball to be ready for the next week.Prices are unbeatable and you feel like part of the family.
