I have fond memories coming here as a child with my dad who often found items for his projects here! I think it's really great to recycle things, and nice to see stuff getting used and not going to waste. The staff are also very nice and helpful. Most of the items are pretty inexpensive. There are a few items which I am not sure are worth quite the amount asked for, but these items are most likely considered antiques, which may be why the price is a bit more expensive.

Best in all the state have been going for 20 years it’s definitely expensive now it’s dirty smelly but it’s the south Hobart vibe don’t go on weekends it’s packed and nothing goods left

I know that this is a resource centre but wow, on entry the smell was almost unbearable and I walked straight to the outside area. Looked at a few doors and was blown away at the price.. did not stay for more than 10 minutes extremely disappointed and will not return. I used to enjoy coming here and searching for bargains..

Not your typical tip shop. A lot more variety than others around Hobart. Especially if you are into electronics part. No other tip shops really sell those.

Amazing place! So many goodies . Literally can find anything you want second-hand and also stuffs are very friendly . It has give away trolleys sitting outside and books cloths etc.. are free to take .it s a place that encourages people to reuse recycle and have decapitalism lifestyle. Love it ..

Over priced timber and windows, same stock in window area week after week because of the price, timber prices are new retail not tip shop prices

It’s so easy to find a gem here! Great tip shop with good vibes. I got a coat and a cute vest in very good condition, and very happy with them!Psst… There’s many nice clothes in the pile, you just have to take your time and be thorough! Good luck!

They get everything they sell for free, so I do not understand why they expect top dollar for their wares. Often you also cannot bargain with them in any way. Years ago, you could get some great deals on reasonable items, but it seems lately that the staff have become greedy, hoping people will just pay up. Often building materials are only 30% less than the brand new alternative. Would not recommend this place.
