Between February and June I needed to find myself a property to buy, I spent my weekends and some week days looking at some 80 properties in the western suburbs. When I listed my property with Jenny, she ensured that I felt heard, supported and regularly updated me. The property sold within a week over the expected price and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Thank you Jenny.

My partner and I have been dealing with Mervyn Chen for the last 2 weeks re buying a new house for ourselves. From day dot we did exactly what Mervyn/the vendors asked us to do. We needed a subject to sale condition and in return the vendors wanted a sunset clause. We asked for a genuine 14 days to sell our house as we are a young family with 3 young children and just wanted to protect ourselves from selling our house and potentially having nowhere to go due to how the sunset clause works. He wanted our house on the market before any contract had been signed to show we were genuine, so we did that. They were all (apparently) happy with price and special conditions so drafted us a contract to sign. Mervyn also basically called me a liar and thought I didn't understand the sunset clause as we were asking for a genuine 14 days sale period so I had to show him correspondence from my lawyer from a previous house we had a contract on and were offered those special conditions by vendors/agents who gave us 30 days to sell our house and not effectively use the sunset clause. Went ahead and signed contract and got it back to Mervyn and suddenly the vendors solicitor recommended vendors don't sign due to vague conditions and mysteriously went with a higher offer. Those conditions were put into the contract by Mervyn who used my solicitors conditions based on a previous house contract and what the previous vendors wanted. I'm not sure if Mervyn showed the vendors or not those conditions BEFORE putting them into the contract to confirm wording before giving the contract to us to sign. He completely gutless in being honest to the vendors/vendors solicitors and to us. Looks like Mervyn just strung us along to leverage a higher secondary offer. Very frustrating and a horrible situation to be left in! Unfortunately due to Mervyn's incompetence, he cost us our sale. I'm not sure why these agents feel it's OK to stuff around with people's lives.
