Dr Earth Newtown

Sadly i have to give at least one star.Dr Earth Newtown - Saturday 24th June 2023, My wife, Son and I went to explore Newtown, we came across a lovely looking health food store Dr Earth, I walked in before my wife and son to look at all the different ingredients they offer, as I am an ex-military chef and I enjoy browsing the food isles.I then noticed my wife at the front of the store talking to a worker who claimed she owns three businesses and has several kids" (I did not get a name)

Good selection of healthy food and nutrition products. Prices might be higher than other stores. I enjoy the selection of products. There is also a membership subscription that allows you to accumulate points.

Lined up to buy a chocolate only to be told when I went to pay it’s $5 minimum.Just pass on the merchant cost and don’t try to make me buy more than I want.Not impressed.

Good selection of brands and I found everything I needed in there. They also sell fresh fruit and natural skincare products. The staff member was also very friendly however the check out service was slow. I got asked if I was a member to which I replied no. They never asked me if I wanted to become one so that's the business's loss.

Worst Açai bowl I have ever had!!!The last one I had here was really good and filled with lots of delicious ingredients, but this one was not made with love: it had defrosted banana instead of fresh cut banana, chunks of roughly cut fruit, grapes on the stalk and was missing its toppings like shredded coconut...a rip off for $14.50...I ❤️ Dr Earth and shop here all the time, they have so many great things but today was a total disappointment.

I came here several times during my 2 week stay in Sydney, both to buy paleo groceries and to try their amazing selection of raw cakes. I always found everything I needed for my paleo needs, which seldom happens! And as for the cakes, they were delicious. I wish I had more time to try more! Staff were always friendly and helpful - especially in the cafe, they were outstanding!

Had the best experience here. Jen the florist & Jenny the manager went above and beyond to help me! Lovely, warm, caring people. Such a pleasure to deal with. Fully stocked health hub with everything you need. Excellent coffee, gluten free food, vegan, supplements etc! Beautiful flowers! Highly recommend!

Come here for the supermarket, cafe is mostly to avoid.I’m a regular customer at Dr Earth because of the range of speciality items. It’s a bit more expensive than a large chain, but that’s to be expected.Staff in the supermarket are always extremely attentive and friendly. I was surprised to find the ‘cafe’ was such a different experience. The older gentleman was so rude I almost walked out. In general, it seemed like they were overwhelmed with even a small number of people ordering basic menu items.Then the food - ordered avocado on toast and it was barely a smear. They also sandwiches and a burger but no real info on what you’re getting.There’s not really anywhere to sit in the cafe anyway, and with so many options nearby I’ll probably avoid it in the future and just visit for speciality goods.

Love this place! The staff and service you receive is outstanding and they make it a great place to visit. You are always welcomed with a friendly smile, and you have naturopaths, homeopaths etc that are available to answer your questions and respond to your health queries or find alternate tablets/sprays if they are not stocked. :)
