Kowanyama River House
New and well appointed accommodation with everything the remote worker/traveller need. Most rooms comprise of two single beds have split system air con, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities as well as cutlery, cups and plates. Pretty sure I saw an electric fry pan and rice cooker in there too. Public BBQ area undercover to enjoy the sunset and subsequent Birdlife display at dusk.

Lovely place to stay in the Kowanyama community. Clean, welcoming with the amenities needed to be comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again next time! Recommended.

Remote accomodation. It is quite nice place and rooms were quite well set up, just little things... coffee provided was off. The content of sachets was white. Lawn mover, broken and dirty, was stored in kitchen, which was together joined with laundry. That is not a best practice for food environment.
