Chemist Warehouse Kangaroo Flat

I am now getting my prescriptions made up via the Chemist Warehouse app. This process I have found very quick and convenient as opposed to standing in a queue and then having to wait for the medication to be made up. I just pop in when the text says they are ready to pick up. I can highly recommend this process. I buy all sorts of things from here and have found the prices really good. The Kangaroo Flat store is always well stocked, however this leads to the stock looking overcrowded. The chemist can get very busy too however the staff are usually friendly and attentive. Given the foot traffic this shop gets, you can see it’s time that this ‘Warehouse’ gets a bit of luv as the store is looking very tired now.

You wont find a cheaper medicine elsewhere and this makes this store a crowded place. Staff doing their duty well and the layout of the store is not crowd friendly and the prescription medicines delivery takes time between 15~30 minutes when crowded. This is the reason for many negative comments. Otherwise, store is in the heart of Kangaroo flat, ample parking in the back, entry form both sides, variety of products, customer friendly staff (at times overloaded) all makes this a great spot for people to buy medicines.

Rude service .. asked 2 different people where a product was... then a third who was just rude.. as I said to her, maybe if you showed me in the first place I wouldn't have to ask 3 times!!.. where the customer service!!Previous visit i went to get certificates as it's literally advertised ON the counter and in the catalogue... was told no they don't do them... Wow.. try removing your false advertising...

Went in only to grab my daughter some nurofen and the young guy with moustache looks at me like i asked him for all his money.. told me to go right to the other side of the chemist because he doesn’t open until 10am! How about “Good Morning or HELLO…So sorry but you’ll have to go to the other end of the chemist due to not opening this cash register until 10am,!… where’s your manners at??? Seriously where’s the customer service at these days!? You guys are a chemist! You need to work on empathy and manners… it doesn’t take much for a hello or sorry about that… it goes a long way!

Tuesday night at 6:55pm went to drop in a script. They close at 9pm. Informed by the person at the counter they are not taking any more scripts for the day as they have 2 hours worth waiting. I said but I’m out of this. She still refused. I expect better service and more compassion from a chemist. I had been ill with gastro so didn’t fill it days earlier. Life happens. She didn’t even check what the script was for. Just refused and walked away.

Purchased a perfume for my daughter for Christmas. She went to use the perfume for the first time while on holiday and the spray part of the bottle came loose. She fixed the spray back on and upon arriving home after a 7 hour trip home from holidays, found the entire contents had leaked from the bottle. I took the receipt and bottle back to chemist warehouse and before I could explain that the bottle was faulty, the girl behind the counter interrupted me and told me that they don’t exchange perfumes. I went on to finish what I was trying to say in the first place that the bottle was faulty. She then referred me to someone higher up that told me they would refund the money.which they did. The whole while I was made to feel really uncomfortable about the situation by the way the assistant spoke to me really abruptly. The exchange was made and when I turned to walk away she intend me that I had not even purchased the perfume from the store. This was after she had ample time to view the receipt. I mentioned to her that I was sorry and didn’t realise that I hadn’t purchased it from that store. I had recently purchased 7bottles of perfume for gifts from that particular warehouse and 1 from another. I had not checked the receipt but honestly thought it was bought from that store the assistant had the receipt so could have checked. I was honestly under the belief that you could exchange/ return between store (I actually didn’t realise it wasn’t purchased from the store and if she had told me that, I would have understood and accepted they could not have refunded the product. ). I asked what I should do and she retorted’ don’t worry about it’ in quite an annoyed tone. I have always purchased perfumes for gifts from that store for my daughter, nieces and daughter in laws. But feel really apprehensive about going in there again.

Biggest problem I have found with this chemist is the lack of space, it can get very crowded trying to get past the script area at times. Customer service is always pleasing.

Chaotic,trying to look at products with people walking through and standing around,cramped up to pick up their scripts,music blurring,some of the staff the younger females in particular have no customer service skills at all,not hard to say hello how are you or thank you

They have all you you need, in the way of health care productThey have an amazing range of beauty care ect

Excessively long wait. 20+ minutes wait for 1-2 medications and 5 chemists working on it.Had rude cashiers at one point too.You can get your prescriptions prepared in advance online but not everyone can operate devices.The Chemist Warehouse in central Bendigo on Mitchell Street is much more efficient and polite.
