Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel

Great heritage hotel with super friendly, helpful staff. Bed was average and pillows were lumpy but thankfully other pillows in the closet were great. Cups for coffee and tea were way too small and the only place to boil the jug was on the writing desk but otherwise great facilities, lovely restaurants and the convience of undercover parking.

It's far from downtown but this hotel is charming and nice. I was here for an official visit and we have our own bus to go around so logistics was not an issue for us. I would stay again in this hotel for official trips.

Beautiful Art Deco. Lovely rooms. Very quiet. Great Service. Comfortable beds. Good food selection. Room Service has no idea what each dish is all about. Sadly the young girl was way out of her depth. Having said that, it really is a great place to stay and wonderful after a long drive.

The first executive hotel in Canberra Australia, built back in when the city is developing. This hotel still has the Art Deco design feel and look, which for me is an amazing experience. I stayed in a twin bed contemporary 41 sq room with sitting area and working desk. Sleeping was great and relaxing.The food? No doubt, all are great! After all, it’s a 5 stars hotel in a strategic location.During morning and evening, I tried to walk to a nearby park and lake (Nara Peace Park) from the back lobby. It’s also a great experience, especially during the early morning.

Historical and has the old world charm in the common areas. The room was large and modern. Close to Parliament house and other sites to visit. I enjoyed our stay.

We recently had a very enjoyable one night stay. We arrived hours before check in time but were able to check in early anyway. The seafood buffet was great, not cheap but worth the price. Staff were all very professional and helpful. The only thing lacking was toilet paper.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Reception was informative and helpful. Quiet location. A lit out of the way of city but great open spaces to enjoy walks and bike rides.

I'm sorry to say, I think the Hyatt Hotel Canberra has ruined me for other hotels in the region, we thoroughly enjoyed our four day, three night stay.When we arrived, we discovered they had upgraded our booking from a large corner room to a Diplomatic Suite, which was just gorgeous. A wonderful period apartment style suite with some luxurious touches and great little balconies overlooking the autumnal gardens.Breakfast in the promenade cafe each day had a fantastic selection of everything from the usual hot buffet, to hand made muesli, cheese, and poached fruit. Staff were attentive and helpful. The chef on the egg station really does know his way around an omelette; silky, well seasoned and only just cooked, not rubbery at all. Coffee is also good.A spot at the Hyatt we found ourselves frequenting each day was the Speaker's Corner Bar, drink selection is mostly pretty good, but they did run out of a few ingredients. The vibe in the bar is cosy and inviting with open fireplaces and a knowledgeable team.The concierge team were enthusiastic, friendly willingness to assist.This stay was originally booked as a one-off after deciding we'd like to try a hotel a bit roomier than where we usually stay when we visit the Capital, but I think we may be returning to the Hyatt sooner than we had originally planned.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. My husband and myself and our 2 year old stayed here for 2 nights in January and will definitely be back. The hotel has everything you could need, beautiful rooms, lots of amenities and staff who always go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and smooth. Dawa and Binod provided exceptional service and were so friendly. Highly recommend the cocktails in the main bar in the evening and High Tea which was delicious. Such a relaxing and memorable experience. Thank you!
