Constructive Group undertook the construction of sixteen apartments in a six storeys building located directly across the road from their offices for my development company which turned out to be a total disaster. Their workmanship and professionalism were appalling. Walls weren't straight, flooboards were ruined during construction, cabinetry was defective, waterproofing was and still remains an ongoing problem for the residents. Their project managers told subcontractors to extend the time for works so they could claim variations and extensions of time. Richard Harris and Rohan Andrew proved to ve completely incompetent directors. Not a single element if their works were acceptable with much of the works requiring substantial rectification. The photos posted with this review show how poor their workmanship was on this project. A black metal glass framed feature curtain wall in the penthouse was supposed to constructed with hidden fixings instead the constructive team allowed more than 50 silver screws to be screwed in randomly to fix the window. The window should have been replaced but instead they painted over the obvious defects. Many joints weren't flush. To cover up the gaps between the timber floorboards and walls they used corking. They also extensively used corking to hide the huge gaps in many parts of the cabinetry where the construction was supposed to ve flush. The project was supposed to be top quality in the end it was poor quality.

Commissioned them for a multi-apartment development as they seemed to be a diligent and professional team. Little did i know it was a front as i was eventually passed on to their underqualified director" richard which knows just as much about construction as my french bulldog. Following frequent site visits and chatting to their subcontractors i soon learn that they have a habit of holding money on their tradesmen and in many cases
