Definitely recommend Island batteries. We ended up purchasing a new battery for our 4 wheel drive as the old one was past it's use by date and a Lithium ion jump starter. The young guy that served us was really helpful and friendly. His employer should be very proud of him.Keep up the good service.

I was served by a man named Kurt who was rude and unhelpful. I was returning a battery for my father's mobility scooter,which he requires as he is an amputee. The battery was only purchased two days earlier and despite knowing what the battery was for he stated he would check it tomorrow. I asked if he had anymore in stock,to which he replied I don't know". He said come back tomorrow. When my brother in law rang the shop Kurt said he was the only person there and he was very busy. However there was another man there serving someone else at exactly the same time as I was. There are a number of other battery shops in Launceston to which we will take our business in future."

Had exactly what I required at the right price. Only spoiler was the fact that there was only one sales person and he was busy looking up and printing information for the customer in front of me. Would have been great to have a second sales person.... I was there for a good 15 mins. I work in retail and understand circumstances but the sales person did not even acknowledge me... Have purchased here before and had great service,so will put down to short staffed or busy in workshop maybe.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the friendly group of guys working here after winter snaps killed my battery ! Very easy to communicate with and great pricing ! Jack was even able to help me with out some oils I needed for the vehicle

After previously experiencing good service when buying a car battery I returned to try my luck purchasing batteries for a 30 year old electric car. Typically being the last stop of the day my toddler had fallen asleep. Sitting outside the shop debating if I should wake and drag her in or return another day I called to see if it was something that they stocked, I was shocked and impressed that they offered to come to me in the street, checked my old batteries, returned with replacements and took my payment without me having to leave the car. It’s not the sort of service you would expect from anyone let alone a battery shop. Beyond impressed and grateful, Thankyou!
