Got talked to like an absolute dog until my husband walked in and then it was a different story by the older, short, grey haired male.Absolutely disgusting the way he spoke to a female but changed his tune pretty quickly when husband came in, hearing commotion.

For anyone out on the roads around Hay at the moment you will know that there is only one pot hole to worry about and it starts in Yass and runs through to Balranald. Anyhow, our team were on an urgent knife making supply run to Adelaide knife show today in the Gameco Artisan Supplies show truck.This is a super critical mission to bring Australia’s best knife making supplies to South Australia, and if it is was not for the 600km long pot hole called NSW roads they probably would have got through without a hitch. Alas, we ran into technical difficulties in Hay when our shock absorber sheered off. Not a good look, but given the state of the roads it is what it is!Anyhow the team at Hay Tyre and Battery Service were absolutely fantastic! They got the truck repaired and back on the road and all things being equal we should make the show tomorrow!On the subject of NSW roads, I managed to do 70,000 steps on my fitness watch just from driving down the shops to get some milk and a tube of toothpaste. If you want to get fit go for a drive!Thanks again guys it is much appreciated! Awesome service.

Had a truck tyre blow out just before getting into Hay, looked up the local Goodyear tyre service centre. The staff were friendly and had two new tyres on and ready to go in no time atall. Also sent the bill back to our local Goodyear tyre service centre for me.

Called into Hay Tyre & Battery today on an off chance that they could fit me in to do a wheel alignment either today or tomorrow, spoke to a bloke named Andrew who was very helpful and advised that they could but it won't be until 3pm, which was fantastic as we are passing through an having some issue with the alignment, I must say a very big thankyou too Andrew an the team, because if it wasn't for Andrew fitting us in, our lives could be a lot different down the road, as we had our vehicle wheeled aligned in another town and found out that the caster bolts were not tighten up, the bolts are now certainly tighten and the alignment is the best they can do, but the front end of my vehicle will now need to get a full complete alignment and adjustment made due to the caster bolts not been tighten. So once again team thank you for your help very much appreciated.

Good job done by the boys at Hay tyres today got us back on the road in no time even spent the time to put the spare back under the motorhome and lifted it up for us price was very good as well.

Hay Tyre and Battery service went above and beyond today getting our vehicle back on the road after damage from hitting a pot hole. If you’re in the area give them a miss…the potholes that is but if you do strike trouble see these guys for great service.

Very bad service .. even no idea how to talk with customer very rude .. I like to drive without Tyre instead to go there .shop owner learn some manner to be good human you really need doctor assistant

Back in April whilst travelling from Tamworth to Balranald I had battery trouble when I got to Hay. The guys at Hay Tyre and Battery Supplies went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I am so grateful to you all. Thankyou Thankyou so very much.

Extremely helpful when we had a damaged tyre

Top effort by Andrew today! I damaged a tyre when I hit a pothole near Wagga Wagga. Limped into Hay after very careful and slow driving. Andrew replied promptly to my voice message, came and opened up when they'd usually be closed, checked their stock, found the right size tyre, and fitted it quickly. I was able to return to Adelaide the same day, confident the new tyre would be fine. My car doesn't come with a factory spare wheel and tyre either, so I could have been stuck in Hay, or worse, somewhere a long way from help, in 42 degree heat.Lesson learnt, do not buy a car without a full size spare wheel and tyre. I can't retrofit this, because there's no space. All you get is a Puncture Repair Kit, which is useless except for minor punctures. And the Sealant has a limited shelf life, and cannot be purchased separately. You have to buy an entire new Kit, which is nearly $300. Should be mandatory for every car in Australia to have a full size spare wheel and tyre.
