I certainly will not be shopping at Harvey Norman Wiley Park or any Harvey Norman store for that matter. The store and its head office clearly support dishonest practices. I ordered carpet and when I was told on Friday that the carpet arrived damaged and could no longer be installed on the Monday, and they would need to place a reorder that could take an indefinite period of time to arrive, noting this was the week leading into Easter. I advised the sales manager to not place a new order as I knew I could go with another company, albeit their quote was more expensive, but they could install on the Thursday. One minute I was told I could receive my 1500 deposit back if I pay a cancellation fee. The next I couldn’t get it back at all. After contacting Head Office and then Fair Trading who both confirmed they can’t make the Franchisee return my deposit, I then spent $70 to lodge an NCAT. Conciliation is mandatory before your matter is heard and essentially they can’t be bothered either, with the conciliation officer telling me that if I wanted the matter heard it would be another 8 to 10 weeks and it’s subjective and depends on who hears the matter. $750 was returned to me, with the advice from the Tribunal stating both parties would leave unhappy. Not sure how a consumer who is supposedly protected by consumer law “product damaged” is put through such a process and only receives half the deposit. What a joke! Laws no justice.

This is a formal complaint and dissatisfaction with the way in which the manager in charge of your TV department at Harvey Norman campsie.Last week or so both my husband and I along with our 2.5-year-old daughter went in to chat to a manager within the TV department, where we were directed to a man by the name of Muheb.We approach him and give a brief on our problem. My husband was explaining what had happened and as he was speaking, this so-called manager Muheb, rudely abrupted and interrupted my husband and said brother you at first said this and now you are saying this. Now, to begin with, the story did not change, however he made it sound like my husband is lying. So, my husband advised the man what he had been saying again, he would not listen and sounded as if you are speaking to a rude robot who had been trained to say one line and one line only. Not only the way he was staring at him, the sound and tone of his voice, talking down to him and extremely rude towards him. No options given, no alternatives, no communication skills or have a sound of customer service whatsoever. He was so unprofessional and unpleasant, given the fact I was there with our daughter, showing no respect, no decency or interest in helping.I was disgusted with the way he had dealt with the matter, even if we had no options, at least speak politely, and present the place that pays you to service customers in the best way possible. I had to take my daughter and walk away because I was going to get involved and put him in his place. However, we are not there to cause drama or start trouble, but this Muheb manager really sounded like he owns the place, and we all work for him.On our way out of the store, another lady approached Muheb for help, and again he was disgustingly rude towards her, showing no respect and no understanding that she may not be tech savy and know what she is talking about, hence the reason you are getting paid to help and assist.Mind you, we were only looking for a solution or some options to determine if the damage was covered or not and be given options. We rang to see if Samsung would fix it and we would pay for it.The owner of this store should really be thinking about the type of people he employs and places in management positions because if you have managers like this MUHEB, your reputation will just be as bad as his unprofessional attitude, and disgraceful behaviour. Perhaps employ proper people who have a can do attitude, willing to help respect, show sone understanding, and provide good customer service to the people who pay to keep you operating and pay for the wages of the Rude staff you have.Disappointing and appalling,

We bought a bedroom suite at Harvey Norman Wiley Park. We were served by a very friendly and helpful salesman called Elvis. He helped us to also select a new mattress and gave us a really great discount. He then threw in a set of good quality king size sheets. Our furniture came within a few weeks with only a minor unavoidable hiccup. As a result, Elvis gave us two superb pillows which he hand delivered to our house even though he doesn’t live near us. Elvis went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers. Highly recommend going there!

Thank you Ahmad and Elvis for helping me over the many phone calls I’ve made to the store when purchasing my King Koil mattress. There was a slight hiccup with the delivery date but they did everything they could to help. I received it today and am very happy with it!

Buyers be WARNED! The worst Harvey Norman store by far!Especially dealing with their “so called Manager” Kabil!!!Horrible customer service, no sense of ethics or morals! Not even an understanding of the basics of consumer standards! Had purchased a 4K recliner for Father’s Day & was promised delivery only to have it delivered a week late with out any remorse or empathy after been given the run around (not returning calls or giving a delivery date)! Was promised a $50 refund that I’m still waiting for 7 months on!Will NEVER BE PURCHASING AGAIN!

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Harvey Norman store located in Wiley Park, and unfortunately, I must say that my experience was quite disappointing. The layout of the store made it difficult to locate the various departments, and I noticed an abundance of staff members who were seemingly unengaged and not providing assistance. Despite these initial setbacks, I eventually stumbled upon the electronics department where I was pleasantly greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic staff member at the front desk. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist me with my needs made a significant difference in my overall perception of the store. If it were not for her exceptional service, I would have rated this store much lower.

Thank you Harvey Norman Wiley Park for a wonderful full-service flooring experience.In February this year I visited Harvey Norman Wiley Park with a view to look at our options for replacing our carpet with timber flooring. We received great service from flooring specialist Adnan, who was incredibly welcoming, informative and gave us a few samples to take home. After shopping around, we decided to go back to Adnan as his customer service stood out.Adnan came out to measure and quote and suggested a great flooring option for us. We're so pleased with how our floors have turned out. In terms of after-sales service, Adnan has followed up with us since installation and ironed out any issues promptly.Thank you for a great experience and to Adnan in particular for his work ethic and wonderful customer service.

A very poor experience with the delivery of Hisence fridge and lack of contact in trying to resolve the issue is the reason for the low score. Their contractors delivered a fridge that had damage. This contractor then claimed to have rung the store who stated that in recognition of the damage a refund of $100 would be provided! A reasonable outcome. However despite two emails to Mohammed to clarify the process for the refund no response was forthcoming so a complaint was lodged through their complaints process. With a promised 24 hour response which did not also occur. It was only after my brother called to this store a further inconenience to him he was advised NO refunds are ever offered bringing their contractors credibility into doubt. The out come was they agreed to replace the fridge but without any reference to the contractors behaviour and follow up action of learnings from this sad process. I expected more or even a follow up but alas Not so. Good luck dealing with Wiley Park Harvey Norman and their complaint process when thing go wrong!FOOTNOTE I tried to follow their link as per below but it didn't work. Its wrong they wanted me to invest more time as the details were already in my original complaint to head office which they didn't respond to at all. Only from this site. They have their information already so I am finished with this complaint as it was a further waste of my time!
