Lovely spot! Clean toilets and showers, decent sized camp kitchen and a swing to boot. The views are gorgeous and the owners are lovely. We only stayed here one night as we were passing through however we would come back. Thanks!

OMG definitely stay here!We came from the rainy south and into the rainforest!Upgraded to the sheltered area and was perfect for when the downpour came in.Facilities 10/10!If it's a dry night you can light to firepit!Waking up in the morning to beautiful green hills and views, including a tree swing and cassowaries!!

I stayed here with my boyfriend, the amenities are so clean. We had a wonderful stay here the campground kitchen was also really nice to have. As well as having a shop that served hot pies and has pretty much anything else you need if you run out of things. Also saw cassowaries almost every single day we were there. The hosts are great to, we loved it here, we even extended our stay!

Arrived at the rainforest village Park just before closing one afternoon without having a booking, but the owner kindly squeezed us in for the night. Purchased some essentials we had forgotten to pack from the convenience store on the campground (huge range, very reasonable prices!). The facilities on the grounds are exceptional and immaculately kept. Great kitchens and bathrooms / showers that make you think you're staying in a modern apartment! Went for a walk around the camp in the morning and was blown away by the beauty of the property itself and its surroundings. Couldn't help take out the camera to get some snaps. Pics don't do justice! Mark, who with his wife owns the park, stopped by the van as I was having breakfast and had a chat. He gave us some great tips and local knowledge, including recommending various Forrest walks, swimming holes and waterfalls. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Definitely hope to stay here again

Truly beautiful campground, surrounded by wild families of cassowaries. They offer sheltered campsites too, have clean facilities and a great camping kitchen. The owners are a lovely couple who make you feel welcome. And theres a little shop with a servo where you can meet all the locals who come by. We had an amazing stay here

Magical place! We stayed one night on Xena's Landing" (unpowered site) and it was literally just the rainforest and us. We loved the swings on the fig trees

Absolutely stunning campsite in the Daintree. Myself and my partner have camped all the way up the coast from Brisbane, and this has been out favourite site by far. Beautiful scenery, new and clean amenities and the most friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. We will be recommending this campsite to anyone and everyone, we had such a great stay and are sad to leave!

The place is nice, the facilities not big enough for the quantity of sites, but the people who lives here or the owners has awful manners. Don’t pay extra for terrible customer attention. To explain this bad review in more detail, the 2 ladies that are at the front on the little market beside the petrol station, are amazing, very good attention. Both of them were very kind and useful. On the form that we completed at the front, they asked if we have a drone, where I say yes, but nobody say that I cannot fly a drone. So, we assumed that we can use our drone on the camping. There is no sign that says that the drones are prohibited or not allow. So, we went on the very top of the hill, very far away from the campsites, to fly our drone and take some pictures from the forest. Suddenly, one guy, with very, very bad manners shout to us, that “put this drone down immediately, this is a private property and the drones are not allow here” .Obviously, after this, we put the drone down, but we had a very bad taste and experience on this camping.Don’t bother to pay more than the other campings on the region ($45 for an unpower site). Most of them, charge 20$ per person, which for us was 40$, and also some other campings only charge $35 for an unpowered site. Even if you can get the National Park camping is only $7 per person. Also, there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers on the man bathroom and the same for the woman bathroom, not enough quantity, for the size of this camping.Despite that the landscape is nice, don’t pay more for a really bad customer experience and poor facilities. And on the top of that, despite that we arrived late, we asked for a late checkout in an almost empty camping, and it was not available, we have to leave at 10:30 am. The last point, the internet is cut off at around 8:00 pm, and start again at between 8:30 and 9:00 am. They have Starlink, and if you are in your campervan or motorhome, is not working, the router is not powerful enough with very low speed, and most of the times is not working, particularly with a cloudy weather. By the way, there is no mobile signal on this camping (at least with Telstra)

What a place to stay! We stayed one night and came back a few days later and great experiences both time. Good chats with the people who worked there, including the owner. Awesome camp kitchen, fire pit, tree swings and green lawns. Sites were spacious. 100% recommended and would be back if we are ever here again. Oh, and bathroom was spotless!Check out more at:@ultimateaussiebucketlist (insta, FB, web)
