Brilliant Lighting
Brought the protector and OMGThe nightmare begins...I spent 2 days after install trying to connect the unit to the WiFi and the app to the unit, Just doesn't want to play ball. I had friends try and when we finally got one connected it dropped out and off line, haven't been able to reconnect it since. Called customer service after exhausting all options only to be looped on a merry go round with no one taking the call. It is with my unbiased opinion the hardest thing I have ever tried to work with and will endeavour to return it to purchase a different product....

Do not use this company. Had four of their fans installed (by a licensed electrician) less than three years ago, still two years left on warranty. One has stopped working completely, the other three are so slow they may as well be switched off.Attempted to make a warranty claim. Was asked to send photos of wall switches. Was informed that the fans were not installed correctly based on this photo.Had an independent electrician attend and check the fans to see if this was the case.The new electrician replaced parts as per Brilliant Lighting emails. Turns out the fan still doesn't work and the other are still slow.Brilliant Lightings response is they will send out someone to check but they may bill us for the visit if they believe the fans are fine.Brilliant Lighting will basically do anything to avoid fixing their faulty fans. I write this after reading that so many other people have experienced the same terrible customer service.Product is junk and customer service is even worse.Brilliant Lighting, please do not reply to this asking for me to contact you. I have already done this multiple times and will not waste my time dealing with you further. I will be replacing fans at my own expense.Only giving one star because it's the lowest you can rate.

I went into a Bunnings store and didn't have a complete set of lights you can buy. They were two different sizes. I called Brilliant Lighting to find out exactly what I need and was told I need to ask those questions at a Bunnings store and that they do not have a technical dept. Would not recommend this brand. Very unhelpful and not clear on packaging. I'll probably just get the same templated response from Brilliant Lighting as all the other bad reviews about this business!

Customer service from this company is absolutely pathetic! We purchased a Brilliant Lighting product from Bunnings in October 2020. Our electrician installed it and then found that the product was faulty. We contacted Bunnings and they advised as the product had been installed we should contact Brilliant Lighting direct for a warranty claim. We immediately submitted a warranty claim, but after several email and phone follow ups we had no reply. I finally got through in December and was advised that our claim would be given the highest priority and had been forwarded to the supervisor. We have still not had any notification re our claim. I will never purchase a Brilliant Lighting product again and will never recommend them to anyone. I only gave a 1 star review so i could post this.

Bought 4 x Brilliant “Beth” spotlights from Bunnings. Astonished to see all four LED bulbs were loose inside the light fitting so I had to dismantle them one by one to refit the the Led bulb.Then on the fourth one I find that the assembler has jammed the led bulb down and smashed the bulb’s pins.Unbelievably sloppy work and an apparent absence of any post-manufacturing quality check. Got pictures but no opportunity to post them.

Have to be the worst lighting product I have purchased in a long time.Purchased the Brilliant Botanic Smart WIFI RGB Garden Light Kit - Blackfrom Bunnings (through electrician), worked for 2 months then could not get the WiFi Garden Light Controller to work after we had a power outage.Replaced the WiFi Garden Light Controller at Bunnings, worked again for 1 month before we had another power outage and now the WiFi Garden Light Controller will not work again.Frustrating product to say the least.

My customer got 6 fans 3 where faulty. Rang Tech support. Went back as suggested Did fault testing no good. Was told if that doesn’t work have customer do warranty claim and they will send someone out no problem. Then the drama starts from there. Customer rings me says they asked for a video of the faults. Then there reply was from the video incorrect install from sparky So not there problem get sparky back out there. I call them up blowing up asking who’s going to pay for my time this will be the second time I been out there? I said I will go back but be sending you a invoice. He replies who am I gunna believe you or my tech guy who Diagnose the fault from the video. So rude. I go back triple check. Tell the customer no sorry you have to get these guys out. He calls up. The guy in warranty again is very rude tells the customer he will be charged the fee when they send the guy out. And he will be coming with no products to fix fan as there’s nothing wrong with them. Well there local sparky came this morning and now he needs to come back again because as I told them the fans are no good. Will never put there products in a customers house ever again.

I had an issue recently where I bought a couple of matching pendant lights at Bunnings. They were a discontinued item but still full price. Unfortunately when the electrician went to install, one was missing the suspension unit. A quick call to Bunnings and unfortunately no more stock in Victoria. Hmm. I rang Brilliant Lighting, the name on the box and unfortunately, none were in stock. Enter technician, Micah of BL who was able to supply two matching (and better quality, I might add) generic suspension kits.
