Golgappa Groceries

On the 17th of June 2021 I bought Papadums from the GolGappa store and you can see that they were off. I could not go back to change as I live on the North side. My cost of fuel would be more expensive than the papadums themselves.This time on the 13th of April 2023 I bought a box of Samosas for $14.99 and they are off as well (photos attached).This store and the owner probably acts like they are still in India and they can sell anything to anyone.Even the arrangement inside the store is horrible. Things are not where they should be, price tags are missing on many items and there are lots of safety hazards inside the store itself e.g. there are holes in the middle of some aisles. My hand trolley struck one of the holes and all contents from the trolley fell out.The customer service is again horrible. I don't know if these people are angry at not being paid properly or they are just angry in general about life and everything. No smile, no thank you.Welcome to Golgappa!

The place looks like a Indian grocery store in America.Its Huge and they have a vast collection of food and other grocery items.The quality is satisfactory, prices reasonable ??????, and quantity sufficient.One stop store for Indian, Nepalese, and Fijian spices, but with a downside, so many items do not have price tags, so you will know the price only at the billing counter. Some of the food and snack items are very expensive.Overall a good place for shopping? Not sure.They also have a sweet shop at the front entrance.When you shop with them, they offer a 5-dollar voucher to visit their restaurant Golgappa. Please check my review of the restaurant.Customer service is pathetic, and the attitude of people working there is poor.

We bought the pasteries from the store and they were very hard. It looks like they were not fresh and taste was very bad. They should remove the old stuff from the shelves. Very disappointing. It’s a very big store and should focus more on the quality of the products

All what you need in terms of Indian groceries. Yummy samosa's (plain and panner), good staff and lots of varieties.Needs to be clean and more hygienic though

Everything Indian under one roof! Absolutely love going there on weekends. The staff are helpful too. Definitely something from the fresh snacks corner, they are delicious.

I went for grocery 2 times. Everytime i checked many stuff are expired. The behaviour of the stuff and specifically manager treated very badly. They don't know about customer services.They are very rude. I recommend please don't go to this store in Mt Gravatt.

Always check the expiry date on their products, their shelves are full of expired products.

Plenty of stock but shelves and prices need upgrade and better display of goods.Please do something about front of shop . What's with the arrows.Fix window display.

forgot to take one item , went back at 9:57pm they were closing and advise I can’t take as advise they closed register .Ask if I can pay cash ,, sorryAsk if I can come tomorrow to pay .. sorryIt was ja $2 item but neede for some assignment. Thai told them…Even we service some time customer after hour .. very poor service .. just saying sorry ma’am ….
