Pete The Celebrant, Melbourne Wedding Celebrant and MC

Having worked alongside Pete at a few weddings now where he had been the Celebrant and MC we now wait with excitement for the next one because it is that much of a pleasure to see him do his thing! When he's telling the couples' story during the ceremony we are both moved and hugely entertained, we almost have to remind ourselves that we are there to capture the wedding, not sit back and enjoy the experience when Pete has the mic haha!Christian + Shani xo

Pete was amazing from our very first enquiry - responsive to emails and questions and was able to help us organise a ceremony that was uniquely us. Easygoing and personable, he was able to take the awkward bare bones we provided (feelings are hard to talk about!) and turn them into a fun, warm and engaging ceremony and celebration of what makes us us. Couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Could not recommend Pete anymore. He was amazing to deal with and helped out so much.Unfortunately we had a fire at our first Wedding and Pete handled the situation so well, speaking with guests and announcing that our wedding had to be cancelled.He was then so supportive of us when we were planning wedding 2.0 and helped make the day amazing. Many of our guests praised Pete and we were all so happy with his professionalism, compassion and his humour.

The depth of Pete's interest from the get go was the first indicator at just how wonderful he was going to be. He had a genuine desire to get to know us, to understand our journey, and truly explore our love. We had several catch ups, both digital and in person, and Pete was consistently professional, concise and completely involved. He reassured us and comforted any worries we, putting special effort into making sure everything would be special, and that we would be able to relax (as much as you can at your wedding).On the day he was not a moment late, he helped get myself and the groomsmen ready. He had memorised everything he needed to say for the ceremony, every story, every detail we had told him, he made not a single mistake. And he was passionate and emotive. He wasn't just retelling the what we'd shared, he was expressing it with care and compassion, like he was personally invested in our lives. I truly could not have asked for a better person to be our celebrant. Lucky for us, he was also our MC, and his overflowing charisma continued for the rest of the night, bringing energy and love to our guests, and gracefully navigating us through our entrance, speeches and the events of the night.Pete's presence at our wedding was impactful and such an important part of our night.Pete, Tamara and I are so so grateful of the incredible effort you put in for us, what a wonderful human are. Pete was the best celebrant we could have asked for! He was so down to earth and captured our story perfectly. He had everyone laughing and made our wedding vibe so relaxed and FUN!! Couldn’t recommend Pete more if we tried. Thanks again for making our day so memorable.

What can we say about Pete the Celebrant? We had a wonderful experience with Pete from our initial point of contact, our first and second meeting prior to the wedding, and he blew our guests away at the event itself.I asked Pete to take on the role of Elrond for an improvised Lord of the Rings, council of Elrond scene involving my stepson as Sam, myself as Frodo and 7 of my high school friends as members of the fellowship. As the only one besides myself who knew the script beforehand her lead the charge in binding us in our quest to bring the ring to my wife's finger.During the ceremony he made everyone laugh, sharing in our sometimes inappropriate sense of humour. Our guests afterwards wanted to know if he was a friend of ours, they were made to feel so comfortable and captivated by his presence.Thank you so much for making our day so special.

Pete The Celebrant was excellent!Form our first zoom meeting to our in person catch ups leading up to the wedding, we were able to establish a great connection with Pete. With this Pete could put together a perfect story that made if feel like we had known him for much longer than we had. All this lead to one awesome wedding day and couldn’t have been happier to have Pete part of our big day, he was simply the best and received many thanks and praise from our guests.

Pete was very easy to work with from the start of the wedding process. He was really organised and easy to talk to. He made sure that he understood what we wanted for our wedding ceremony, and on the day, gave us exactly that. So many of our guests made comments about how much they loved our ceremony, and we had a few friends who were in the process of planning their own weddings, ask us for Pete's details, as they were impressed by him on the day. On the day of the wedding Pete was very calming and supportive, checking in to make sure we were feeling good and ready for the day, and even provided us with breath mints to help us out that little bit extra. Overall, we are so happy we found Pete to be our celebrant.
