My Red Truck Roofing experience was the result of a hail storm and insurance claim, where a builder assigned by our insurance chose to use RedTruck. This experience was very disappointing. Workmanship was poor to fair at best, with screws found to completely miss purlins as well as an obvious trend of being crooked and over tightened resulting in washers being torn out. Ridge cap scribing fit was poor, sheets were not lapped correctly and somehow despite being required to fit additional strap ties, these were only screwed off on one end. They also left a small quantity of asbestos lying on the lawn unwrapped and despite being asked to take their general waste with them, felt the need to put this in a scrap metal skip. Despite RedTruck having there own service promise of getting the job right first time, rectification was needed. I wasn't at home for this rectification but assumed they would simply lift a sheet of iron to gain access to the ceiling to screw off the straps that should have been done on the first attempt. I arrived home to find a locked door had been sprung" open and left wide open as well as other faults. After this attempt a building consultant was sent in by the Insurance company who found more faults. Somehow RedTruck was still allowed onsite. To Dave's credit he did attempt to resolve the situation by addressing some of the faults himself and apologizing for the experience

I would like to say how wonderful, and refreshing, it was to deal with such a professional organisation. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. After years of multiple people having a go at fixing various leaks in my roof Dave was able to locate and rectify it in on the spot. He explained what the problem had been and now I'm confident to have the ceiling damage repaired without the worry of future leaks. Definitely recommend.
