Standard storage facility, with lifts and access via code after hours. Minimal internal parking for transferring storage, access to storage is via lifts. Carts are available for those who need them, return to ground level parking so other can use them :). Three levels of internal storage units accessed by the ground level driveway only, back has garage type storage(?). Parking on street is usually hard to find during weekdays, but is 2hr and free. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Misleading contract terms, wouldn't refund advance payment, lost approx. $200 incl. insurance. Was told the facility had the discretion to refund, but was then told their payment cycle wouldn't allow it. Contract refers to refunds, but they claim needs to be a full month that has not expired - even though I had only used 2 days of the month paid for. Spoke with 4 different team members and got 3 different opinions - no consistency. Happy to take my money and then accept my closer of the account so they could get double rent. Overall, terrible service given how they handled the situation. Be careful signing contracts with this company.

Jake and Ainsley are very helpful and friendly, and make you feel very comfortable and safe with storing your goods!I would recommend this place to anyone but only because of how awesome jake and ainsley are.

Came to buy some boxes on a Saturday during their open hours. No one in the office, sign said they'd be back in 20 minutes for half an hour.

Michelle & I found Jake at National Storage South Melbourne to be so helpful through the whole storage process - from buying the boxes, to booking and moving in to a storage shed and then to vacating it. The importance that Jake places on good customer service sets him apart from his competitors.
