Transco Lamp Rewiring and Restoration
So I've been to this place twice now and they haven't charged me either time. First time, i was advised to only re-wire the lamp if i was to have children around. When the arrival of children seemed imminent, a second visit's resulting advice was that it was fine. So while the inconsistent advice is a bit? concerning, I'm really grateful that i didn't have to spend money either time and that i dealt with honest people. I will be sure to return for any future rewiring needs.

The staff at Transco Lamps could not be more helpful. I brought in two lamps I thought had gone and Ian triaged them both on the spot and diagnosed a broken switch on one and a dead bulb on the other. He even helped me carry them back to the car and then declined my offer to pay him for his time. Thank you for a genuinely wonderful experience Ian - you are the epitome of friendly and helpful customer service!

i took a lamp here to transco for Ian to look at. suffice to say it was fixed.i loved Ian's workshop. its huge and nothing is thrown away so no matter how diverse your needs, there is a great chance Ian has what you need lying around as a matter of fact or a factual matter!
